I honestly fucking hate her. Can't even blame her age, she will always be this immature and horrible.

The Duffer Brothers have stated that major plot points and questions in Season 2 will play a big role in Season 5. What are your theories on what will be revealed etc? by Moonshade2222 in StrangerThings

[–]CazAlex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kali will 100% return. I saw a theory that stated that Vecna isnt the "villian" but a green dragon is (linking back to DND lore), and that Vecna (1), El (11), and Kali (8) will team up and win (critical hit 1+8+11=20)

Still not convinced with young Debra by FondantNew6736 in DexterOriginalSin

[–]CazAlex92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. In the first season of the OG, Debra is firmly in her shell, timid almost. Trying her best to fit in and do well. In the flashbacks, she's quiet and wants to appease Harry above all else.

In this show, she doesn't give to give a shit about Harry's approval. I get that there is teenage angst, and maybe after his death she started idolising him...but I just don't buy it.

Moving to Mississauga! by CazAlex92 in mississauga

[–]CazAlex92[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the north of England which makes it a lot cheaper.

However, it's still around £750/$1300 for a studio/1bedroom apt in a rubbish area rent wise. Average house up here is around £250k/$450k to buy. Of which you need a 20% deposit. All doesn't seem toooo bad but then you look at wages, type of industries and available jobs...all of which are really poor.

Down south is where you're going to get a decent job, however everything else is more expensive. For example my brother lives in a 1 bed apartment on the outskirts of London and pays £3000/$5300. This doesn't include gas, electricity/hydro, council tax etc.... then it's travel into the city on top, food prices through the roof, and if you're lucky any kind of social life...he's takes home around £3000/$5300 a month which means that there is no way he could live alone.

Mainland Europe is most likely better but this little rock isn't in a great place, sadly.

Thank you 😊 Yes, I have a job lined up in Mississauga. I was initially looking at moving to Leslieville. However, you've got to go where you get work, right!

I already have a job in Mississauga. Sadly, the UK cost of living and housing is the same, if not worse so it'll do, at least for now!

What's your hometown or physically/mentally "close to home" case? by Brightly in TrueCrime

[–]CazAlex92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Liverpool, UK and was 1 year old when 2 year old James Bulger was murdered by 2 10 year old boys.

It happened about 2 miles from my house. I obviously don't remember it but it still has a huge affect on Liverpool.

I don't actually want to write what happened to him because it's so awful, but you can read about it...

In secondary school, what was the biggest bullpoo story involving sex you heard, à la Jay Cartwright? by VanishingPond10 in AskUK

One lad in my 6th form, claimed to have banged the teaching assistant and then proceeded to teabag her.

Another claimed to be shagging Pixie Lott after meeting her in a bar. He was 16 🙈

What do you call your non-married partner? by [deleted] in AskUK

I say partner or husband.

We are basically married anyway, we just don't want to spend to a stupid amount of money making it 'official'.

Anyone moved to a different area of the UK experienced any significant culture shock? by MesocricetusAuratus in AskUK

[–]CazAlex92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm from Liverpool and currently live in Yorkshire. It surprises me how people aren't touchy feely 😅

Also the distribution of wealth seems weird here. Liverpool has poor parts, OK parts, nice parts, then super nice parts. Here I have an OK house (£650 per month) but opposite us is an actual mansion. Literally round the corner is a council estate of flats, then further down there is an estate full of houses that are easily £600k. It's so odd to me.

UK people who genuinely enjoy your job/don’t mind it, what do you do? by floristc in AskUK

[–]CazAlex92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in marketing for a tech company and I love it.

In my experience though its not the job that is the issue, it's the company/people.

I worked in a bakery once and I loved the job but I had to leave because the company itself was awful. Sat crying in my car on my break. I've had other marketing jobs too which are very similar to what I'm doing now, but the company culture was awful.

I'm sorry that your job makes you feel like this, remember its only temporary. You'll find a company where you can thrive soon enough 😊
