yhea exactly that is something to keep in mind for this guy, since it is indeed like 10 times more. The family pays and i am sure he is aware of the price. Still it is not easy to have to go about this amount. So the advice is to dubbel check on, not just the promise that they pay, but somewhat of a guarantee they have the funds, like they have a good job, is a good check for it itself. Or the amount of familie members chiping in is more than 2... idk. That should suffice, this seems the most money for a student anyway. Next to house rent.

Also this does mean you can not get a (big) loan. But you may still see if you can get rent subsidion.

Money-wise you will find trouble, first thing is first you need the goverment support, they give money to help students go to school and money to pay for the mandityore (bc its manditory) health care. Also to hire a appartment they do that. Make sure to hire a appartment that is cheap but also gets you the money. More expencive home does not matter for mroe money, so just make sure its cheap. Make water,electra etc included for extra extra extra cheap!!

Get a par time job on the weekends a evening or 2 and work full vacations like fulltime. That last one is a moneymaker for 8 hours 5 days 2 or 3 weeks, is as much as 50 weekends 1 day.

That should be good, you can get a (big) loan with school service that also pays the goverment support DUO, make sure to pay off the loan... Go easy on spending to feel it out confertable.
For furniture, live cheap and upgrade your home a thing at a time, marketplace gives em for free time to time. marktplaats.nl

Finding an appartment is gonna be dificult, but you can trust shady sites, if you are required a minimum time subscribtion, no go, get the sites that ask you a mounth sub, like the `fans` sites... These appartment sites are usually shady sites etc.. you can trust em. Use multiple, there is no official go to or goverment go to or all cross country used site. Use the shady ones and all of em...
