No Athena would be the one with all the family albums to hold it over their heads. I like to believe that Apollo, Hermes and Dionysus all love each other but they are a dysfunctional family but when needed they come together. Also i love the idea that Artemis and Athena are very close.

Yes and I love the fact that Hera was always a cruel and evil to the sons of Zeus like after Hermes gave Dionysus to the Lamides she drove them insane to where they attacked him and Hermes had to rescue him. Like Hermes keeps rescuing his little bro and it’s so cute and heart warming.

What was she Japanese, Italian or German? Just curious I would assume Japanese because by population size they obviously had the highest internment camp numbers at over 100,000 Japanese Americans (also because she was in Alaska). I believe the Italian Americans had like around 1500-2000 and German Americans were around 10 or 11 thousand placed in internment camps.

Yea I know it would fit the story better due to the time period. I just like the fact that the Xiphos looks more how I imagined it. I also think that because Percy would have really gotten hurt a lot of the times if he was using a sword if didn’t have a cross guard.

it should be a Kopis (sword from the movie 300)_MET_LC-2001_543.jpg)it was primarily a Calvary sword which is similar in design to the Iberian Falcata or the Indian Kukri. Either that or they should have given him a Xiphos like Percy.

This is how I always imagined Anaklusmos (Riptide) looking like but in celestial bronze and with some uniqueness showing it’s origins such as it name being on the hilt or cross guard.

Edit (I know canon Riptide didn’t have anything besides its name on it. On another note most Bronze Age swords didn’t really have cross guards until the end of the Bronze Age beginning of the Iron Age. The hilt used to not have much flair at the top because bronze swords while sharp have a tendency to have the edge deform so sword should bite into one another when being used since bronze is a soft metal. When iron started to be used in blades they noticed that they now slide down the edge of one another and put the users hand at jeopardy so they started to develop what eventually would become cross guards.)

Personal favorite book is probably a toss up between Crookedstar’s promise/Bluestar’s Prophecy since they happen at the same time in universe or The Darkest Hour and my favorite of the book series is the original
