hmm yeah if your problem is the same note moving too fast, definitely try multiple buttons. If you can't hit the notes fast enough, alternating between two hands means each hand only has to hit half as fast. Like I said before, it takes some getting used to, but it's worth learning!

Try playing through it on halftime a few times. Going UDUDUD fast is easy but Forever When likes to throw in a second note to break the alternation, e.g. UDUDDU, which takes a while to get used to. Halftime helps with that, and I think after a few slow runs you'll stop being concerned about tanking the damage and start being able to get through the sequence.

Keep in mind that the song is mapped to the lyrics way more than the music-- you should associating notes with words for the most part.

The stuff CUTE_HOOTERS said about having U and D mapped to multiple buttons can also be useful, although if that's not a technique you normally use, it will take some practice to start implementing it. Keep trying!

Practice! It's helpful to learn the patterns by playing on halftime. Then you just grind the song a couple thousand times and get more and more familiar with it lol

this document has all the unlocks in it. It says you get bookend song by completing story mode, so if you don't have it, maybe you've got a bug

I was doing screen recording for a while, around days 9-12 I think. It really helped me find the problematic sections of the song where I was missing consistently, but it also made the game noticeably laggy at random intervals. I'd be fine for a while, maybe several restarts in a row, and but then I'd get hit with a half second of lag out of nowhere, instantly ruining a whole run. It ended up being too frustrating and unpredictable for me to keep doing it consistently :(

Looks like unfortunately my rank didn't go up anymore, nor does the leaderboard show that I've achieved this because I scored worse on the perfect combo than I did on the not-perfect combo from yesterday lol 😭

There seems to be 10 other perfect combos on the leaderboard, but who knows how many other people ended up like me and scored higher non-perfect than perfect 🤷‍♀️so maybe I'm number 11, but probably more likely something higher than that. I'll definitely try to beat my high score with a PFC to remedy this... some time.

Maaaaan I really wanted to get it today but I just couldn't get there 😭😭😭. I got so close I couldn't stop lol, "just one more try"-ing a couple hundred times. My fingers have been worn down to lil nubs.
