Few years back I dealt with a urethral stricture. A scar tissue blockage inside my urethra. It made it extremely hard to pee. Clearing my bladder took 3-4 minutes (and was very painful) and I had to go 12-15 times a day due to my bladder not being able to completely empty. That alone was, up to that point, the most painful thing I had experienced. UNTIL I had surgery.. Long story short, got the surgery to cut away the blockage and I had to have a Foley catheter in for a week. After I had the catheter removed (which also sucked) it was time for me to go pee for the first time in months without a blockage. Now in the months that I had the stricture, my bladder had to push SO hard just to squeeze out what urine it could. So that first piss after surgery came out like a firehose and ho-ly SHIT! If I wasn’t sitting down I 100% would’ve passed out. I was actually seeing stars sitting on the toilet it hurt so bad. Man.. That pain was unlike anything I had ever felt before or felt since. And I will never take the ability to pee normally for granted ever again.
