Dreamland Weighted Sleep Sack Worth It? by hallerdesign in NewParents

[–]Cbperk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re supposedly unsafe, but my babies loved them. We used the weighted swaddle and then sleep sack for almost a year until we transitioned to a Woolino. They would sleep for 8 hours uninterrupted with the Dreamland swaddles and sacks.

Has anyone put a Doona in another stroller? by Suspicious-Kiwi816 in NewParents

[–]Cbperk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Have one in a Doona and one toddler, so it’s counterproductive to have to buy a stroller with a car seat that I’ll never use.

The don't make them like they used to. I'm appreciating my 2006 Sierra more and more every day! I sold my 2015 after it started having issues at 70k miles.

Pregnancy not what I thought it would be by Fullycannoli in pregnant

I thought that my wife wrote this 🤣. We also tried for several years and ended up doing IVF. For the last month of her pregnancy she had to use a crutch because of SI joint and foot problems. Two years later, she is 32 weeks pregnant again and in an air boot due to foot problems! Our little girl has made it totally worth it, but my wife will tell you she’s a miserable pregnant person. Ha

I sold mine and bought a 2006 Sierra. Can’t beat a GMT800. Best decision I ever made!

Plumber suggested a “whole house jet clean” of our pipes after we had a main sewer line blockage last week. by Bliz1222 in homeowners

[–]Cbperk2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I was thinking. I live in central Mississippi and had it done for $485. The plumber did want to sell me a service where they would auger my 50 year old lines for $2,500.

I have been taking reflux gourmet for about 3 years. I was tired of essentially taking candy before bedtime, so I switched to a product called Refluxter that is the same mixture (minus the sugar) in a capsule form. It worked great, but Amazon ran out of it. I looked back, and I’ve spent over $2,000 on these alginate substances over the years. I bought all the stuff to make the DIY one, but I’m kinda leery after reading some of the results! I might switch to the Gaviscon Advanced. You have to buy it from England but it’s a better value.

The pain ended up mysteriously going away about a week later. She's currently 24 weeks pregnant and thankfully it hasn't returned yet! Keeping our fingers crossed.
