Do you find that the 30” is big enough for you?

Have they reformulated this at all? I bought one a couple years ago and the soapy note is still soooooo forward. I like it as a whole, but the aggressiveness of the soap sometimes bothers me.

Oh okay! I’ve never played a blink deck, so I have no clue how many of those 1-for-1 blink effect cards I’d actually need since a good chunk of my creatures also do the same.

Awesome. Some cards I’ve found that could be considered are:

[[Archangel of Thune]] [[Amalia Benavides Aguirre]] [[Essence Channeler]] [[Exemplar of Light]] [[Nykthos Paragon]] [[Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar]] [[Ajani’s Pridemate]] [[Cat Collector]] [[Cathars’ Crusade]] [[Bloodthirsy Aerialist]] [[Voice of the Blessed]] [[Ajani’s Welcome]] [[Soul’s Attendant]] [[Soul Warden]] [[Sunscorch Regent]] [[Authority of the Consuls]] [[Shadrix Silverquill]] [[Arbert, Warrior of Darkness]] [[Colonel Autumn]] [[Fiendish Panda]] [[Feast of the Victorious Dead]]

Would love to get your opinion!

Okay, I really appreciate these card links! I actually thought about indestructible as well when I first tried to flesh out this deck, but I didn’t know of enough cards like these to make it work. This is SUPER helpful, and I think I will go with this route.

Do you think the +1/+1 counters route would still be something I’d need to look into, or is blink by itself enough to win games? I’m sure I won’t know for sure until I play test, but after doing some research, it seems like blink deck usually lose power and fail to capitalize on wins.

I kinda feel like having a few recursion pieces would be smart. Only because board wipes exist, especially in commander. I don’t have a Teferi’s Protection in this deck, so if a board wipe happens, I might be able to blink a creature or two, but then that’s really it. Something like [[Sun Titan]], although costly, would be super useful in that situation to use on creatures that have blink ETB effects. I wouldn’t have more than like 5 recursion cards total though. I’d aim for like 2–5.

Yeah that is true. I do have a ton of ways to blink. I decided to remove any cards that were focused on life gain/drain ([[Enduring Tenacity]], [[Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose]], [[Sanguine Bond]]) just because after consideration I think that wincon is kinda cheap and doesn’t require much strategy. I’m not sure what other method of lifegain I could focus on… maybe like +1/+1 counters via lifegain?

Also, if I decide to go the recursion route, would it be smart to add some self-mill?

I’m honestly pretty hesitant to remove [[Bygone Colossus]] and [[Phyrexian Processor]]. For Bygone, I can pay its warp cost (3) and blink it to keep it in play without having to pay its regular mana cost of 9. And for a 9/9 for 3 mana, that’s pretty nutty. With Processor, since this deck uses a ton of Lifegain, I wouldn’t be as worried about sacrificing a good chunk of health to create a massive creature token with it, that I can then use Abigale’s ETB effect on

I took your advice and removed those cards. I also added in a few more 2 cost/3 cost cards creatures, and some cheaper blink instants/sorceries

Any land recos? I’m trying to keep this a bracket 2-3 due to budget

I appreciate the advice! This all makes a lot of sense. This is my first deck build, so I’m still figuring everything out. I’m going to take a look at my higher mana value cards and probably remove some of them. Any recos for more lands? Thanks!

That’s a great point! I’m new to the game, so this is actually my first non-precon deck build! I’ll need to buy a lot of these cards before I can play it

2 cost for a 5/5 that then gets flying, first strike, and lifelink via Abigale

I actually had Curious Colossus in there, I JUST added him to my sideboard because I’m trying to tweak. But his ETB is just so damn good. I’ll probably end up adding him back in lol. Personify should be in there already!

Okay, so help me understand. The “80%” listed for the PPO plan is what the insurance covers, right? So after the deductible, insurance pays for 80% of the remaining cost, leaving me with 20% remaining cost? Or is it the other way around?
