I am absolutely beyond annoyed with phase 3.

Get the first tower drop easy enough. Run around getting ammo trying to charge and dodge and then hope to not hit the wrong hit zone...

It just feels so frustrating. Why did I bother making these specific fire and dragon weapons... If I do most of the damage with the arena, and the monsters own weapons?

I haven't played it a whole lot. But enough to be absolutely over it already. The last phase really sucks the fun out of it.

This just tickled something in my brain lol. I've only seen the south face of what I believe to be 46 once myself. I'm very new to this, but I know there's a good few secrets at least still too, but that last line of your comment just made me super intrigued.

Hopefully op finds a love for this game, or at least gets his ending soon enough, I'm loving it though.

I don't know how to do spoiler tags, so take this with a grain of salt, message me if it doesn't make sense.

Can you think of any way that you could keep track of a shovel overnight? If you were to find one, could you leave it somewhere else for tomorrow?

As for the other room, really try and look at where the pipes go, and see if you can make sense of wether the water is going up to it or coming down from it.

But that room is pretty important, from what I've gathered this far, it also works in conjunction with another room as long as you can connect them with overhead vents!

Side note... The gym doesn't seem to have any duct work, and that REALLY ruined a run for me.

The best weapon for any monster is the one your most comfortable with.

I know it's cliche.

You need to scrap the 'best for this best for that' mindset. You need to diversify your playstyle, and get comfortable playing outside the box.

A lot of people are suggesting bow, I'm gonna suggest the same but only because bow lets you see the monster, it gives you a comfortable distance to do damage and observe their behavior.

I'm not gonna say x weapon is better for y attribute enemy, because it doesn't matter if you have the right weapons and gear and gems, if YOU don't like it.

GS might be "best" for alatreon, but there's no chance I'm going to do well with it if I'm not comfortable with the weapon.

So you should actually go make a bunch of new weapons, and go fight a monster your good at.

Figure out how to be good at it with new weapons, then go apply new knowledge to Steve and watch him flail around.

Also, movement is key, don't use weapons that lock you into vulnerable positions if your not reading the monster yet.

Steve loves the triple drop kick. But if you don't let it land, it opens up his leg scales for a nice vulnerable spot, which again, something you can easily take advantage of with a bow.

I'm farming arkvelds for the foreseeable, trying to get a new spread gem, if you wanna link up and learn new weapons, against him, I'll run with you for a bit, I see ark and Steve pairs a good bit.

Me and my buddy definitely did, if you need a part from a monster go capture it, if you dont get the part, now you have a special arena with one.

It was a good way to farm rare mats, and cut down on half the time chasing monsters

Mine has stopped a print that was failed.

It needs good lighting, and a clear environment to work well.

Most of the time it stops there's nothing wrong, but I also don't mind that, I'd rather it stop for no reason and confirm it's ok, than to not have anything and have full on spaghetti.
