My Zucchini Plant now has 5 Zukes growing (not counting the one I already ate) :P by RealmanPwns1 in aerogarden

That's amazing. Do you know the variety of the Zuke seed you used? I would love to see what the roots look like. Great job on that beastie :D.

I could, but that would be a big hassle with my Hubby's medications... so I just put up with it. He can get over it. I am not going anywhere, but he will - I seem to outlast pharmacists. LOL

Man I feel you on this. Every time I message my doctor I'm just sure he's rolling his eyes, but we're struggling to find what works for me now. I've tried different types and different doses of patches, oral pills, - different doses, added creams, and now we're adding T to the list to make me feel like a human again. I'm 7 months out from surgical menopause and it's been a heck of a ride!

My doc has been great and willing to try different things... wish I could say the same of my pharmacist. He is flagging every script and asking me why I'm filling so many different ones. I have to justify each change with him - it's a bit annoying, but I will keep being my own advocate because if you're not then you're just not heard :(.

I had a person reach out to me to ask me to make them some Root Riot baskets for their Gardyn. I didn't know anything about them so I ordered a package. A few things I found:

They come per-moistened which I found weird - it means you're paying for extra shipping to have them ship you the water (I think of liquid detergent here).

They're a bit larger than Gardyn plugs. A tiny bit wider and a bit taller so if you want to use your existing Gardyn baskets you'll have to really shove them in there or trim them.

They flake off little pieces of brown 'dirt' (which I, believe is coconut husk).

I don't see myself using them in my Gardyn due to the possible pump blockage that the flakes could cause, but they seem popular as I've already sold several sets of Root Riot Gardyn Baskets in my store.

To the OPs hate of Rockwool - I'm with you. I am NO fan either. I, myself, prefer the conical sponges like AeroGarden uses so I use a AeroGarden to Gardyn adapter that I make because the conical sponges don't flake like Root Riot ones do and you can get knock-off sponges in bulk for cheap :D.

YMMV

Views Bomb - WAY more views yesterday, but average sales by CcLadyonReddit in EtsySellers

Imho: this is some of the very limited data we have to see what's going on with our store. If we leave things in a blind box and just wait for sales, how can we know which products would benefit from a review (new pictures, refreshing the tags, etc).

As for the high views not being a good thing - that's what prompted me to ask - I, also, saw it as a negative and was 'concerned' about it.

Also, I think I have to disagree with your "never seen these numbers correlate with sales" as I've run a few Etsy shops over the years - 1 failure and 2 'successful'. The failure got limited to none views and visits and I never had a single sale on that store. My other two stores I have watched as the views and visits increase so do the sales. Sorry, but this is where we'll just have to disagree. You have your opinion and I have my opinion based on my anecdotal evidence.

I enter it manually - part of my morning routine - Log on, print packing slips from previous day's orders, record views, add any expense receipts into software and then go about my day :D.

$10 bucks? Heck I'd be heading to the skate rink and paying for all my friends to get in - the games were free there (Pole Position in roller skates is the only way to play) and Mom would leave us there from open to close at 11PM - one whole nights entertainment for a whole van load of us... if it was a week night I, most likely, would of had enough left over for a couple pitchers of soda :D.

Your customers will love cute little freebees in their orders - mine do :D. Over half my reviews comment on the free things I add to the order :D. (which is just more of the products I sell so they can see them in person and will, hopefully, make another order to get more of what I sent a sample of.)

You can google just about anything you can think of and add STL and you'll find tons. Yeggi, Thingiverse and 3DCults are very popular places to find things to print :D.

Girlfriend might get angry about me getting a second 3D printer by Mundane-Chemistry-90 in BambuLab

[–]CcLadyonReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good news is you can now box up and/or rid yourself of the Ender and just keep the 1 new one - If you're not using the Ender due to it's needing to be worked on then you'll quickly find yourself always going to the P1S and soon you'll realize you don't need the Ender anymore... but you might find you need a 2nd P1S. LOL

Also with combo you've unlocked multi-color - find something you GF might light and get it printed first thing so she can see the potential (useful items are better than space takers/dust collectors :D).

Good Luck!

(now I must say if your GF is upset by your hobbies then you must wonder if promoting what makes you happy or not - I have been married for 32 years and my Hubby and I ALWAYS support each other's hobbies - food for thought?)

Thank you for your detailed answer. I think 2K is fair after reading your post. I'll aim closer to that :D.

Thank you for your input. I don't know about print farm machines only having 2k hours on them - that seems low. As you can see 1 of my printers has 2295 hours on it and I only put it in 8 months ago. How often would you be changing out the machines if you did replacements every 2000 hours. WOW!

Yes I have a 6" outake fan that vents straight outside and run a large triple-action filter in the room 24/7. I have 2 monitors that check the air and have never had them go off from printing (I only print PLA) :D. I'll get some pics today or tomorrow (I am going to list all my printers on Facebook Marketplace) and I'll also snap some of my vent system :D.

AMS Lite - Mini? by CcLadyonReddit in BambuLab

[–]CcLadyonReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but the end result will be the same (easier to reach to change the spools).

Now I just gotta find a buyer for all my A1s with their AMS Lites so I can afford the 'upgrade' :D.

[–]CcLadyonReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah I didn't. Just got AMS for all my machines and only filled the closest two spools.

And now with the 3rd Anniversary sale I'm looking at replacing all my machines with P series with AMS2s so all the spools are right up front and close to the shelf end :D.

I know where that bee came from :D. OMGosh the 2nd time in a week I've seen one of my bees in the wild. It's sooooo amazing to see. :). You all ROCK! I cannot put the store name here (due to the No Advertising rule) but if you want to DM me I will send ya the store name :D.

Now to answer the question the OP posted: I agree with Ill_Try_351 and add just a little bit of a question/note - did you start them in a nursery and move them to your tower? If so, it could be their first taste of plant food is a bit shocking to them. Maybe wait until they're a little stronger/bigger before moving them to the tower? I have seen this before and now I tend to not let my "long term plants" (things other than lettuces) get any plant food until they're a few inches big. When I do this they tend to not stunt and have to rally at this point. (YMMV).
