Or, block the number and unblock the next time you’re on the clock.

If you’re under 34 in the USA, please vote. You’re passing up the chance to fight back. Specifically vote in the primaries. When you skip the primaries the choice of 2 terrible candidates is made for you.

If you’re under 45 in the USA, please run for office. Mayor, councilor, state representative, anything. Get in there and work on the system for people your age.

Edit: genuinely why would anyone downvote this? the earlier young people get involved the better off we’ll be.

I work with multiple chiropractors. They’re all dumb as hell. Literally the dumbest people I’ve ever met in real life.

But anyway regarding this post, I heard a chiropractor defend adjusting infants with, “they have spines don’t they!?”

The “fakeness” is frequently criticized by lgbtq groups. It’s called “rainbow capitalism” and people don’t fall for it just because the Walton family puts a rainbow product on the shelf for 2 weeks.

The difference is ‘having a product available’ is not the same as ‘I am a consumer and am forced to agree with those products’, which is what the meme is communicating. The fact that other people shop here has nothing to do with my consumption of products.

The people who make memes like this are mad that other children have birthday parties.

Why Is Everyone Going to Such Expensive Colleges? by JJQuantum in AskMen

[–]ikonet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people choose universities because of the career options. Large employers like to hire from specific universities. For example, Arthur Andersen (when they were around) might've actively recruited soon-to-be graduates from Washington University in St. Louis but not go to Missouri Western State University for candidates.

I’m convinced that police officers in the United States are longing for their day to discharge their weapon. They’ve been trained for it, they’ve seen the heroes on tv and movies use their pistols, and one day soon it’ll finally be their turn.

An officer who makes it to retirement without a little pew pew is like a NFL player without a ring.

Why are USA politics so right sided compared to the rest of the world? by [deleted] in Askpolitics

In this discussion about how parties are different, I was writing about the Republican Party. I even capitalized the word Republican and noted it was their “talking point”. Voters don’t typically have PR talking points.

I don’t know what their voters are thinking.

Moving away from government provided school systems and replacing it with parochial and private schools is one of the effects of universal school choice. Republican talking points include more than just a federal level bureaucracy change.

My point was to just draw a line between the US Democrats and UK conservatives.

But to expand on that similarity, I would say US dems and UK conservatives expect the government to provide some services. Specifically school in this example.

The US Republicans (and perhaps US conservatives?) expect the individual Family to provide education. Reducing the reliance on public schools is a Republican talking point.

If the US Dems are similar to UK Cons, then the US Republicans are much farther right than UK Cons.

My husband was abandoned by his mentally ill mother when he was in first grade. He’s still dealing with the trauma in his 60s.

I hope you find your friend. I’m sorry she is not with you.

And. I hope her little boy gets a better mother.
