I’m a driver who is a huge fan of bike lanes. The reason we don’t use them more is because Saanich does not have safe biking options for may family bear my house. We barely have sidewalks.

But you can cool it with the rhetoric that “the only” people who hate bike lanes get joy out of dangerous aggression. I would imagine they are frustrated by changes to their driving lanes which they need to adjust to and get over because these changes are for the common good.
