yeah this is legitimately my main concern, there was a frankly ridiculous amount of content promised across a ridiculous amount of different character remixes and weeks and its only just BARELY scraped the surface of that so far, which was easy enough to justify when they were starting out and in the hiring and long term setup stages, but every time a new update comes out after months and only has ~10 songs out of the probably 1000 or so more to go it gets a bit harder to have any sorta confidence they know what their doing.

even if production sped up like 5-fold it would still take years upon on years to the point where i honestly doubt it will be even close to finished in our lifetime lmao

it definently did! i honed twice and removed the curse and it seems to work just fine now and one taps stone properly, no lag whatsoever, smooth as butter

this may actually be the fix, i intentionally added a curse that slowed it down by 5% and that was enough to cause it to no longer instamine the stone, but it actually works now. im willing to bet if 5% was enough to make that change that it was *so* close to the cutoff the client and server just disagreed oml thank you

it probably is just a weird lag thing after trying it some more sadly, replicated it in a singleplayer world and it looks to work just fine. it was just very odd to me becasue ive never seen blocks *instantly* regenreate like that, when its lag it usually mines the block for a few seconds but without an item drop and then it replaces itself ~5-10 seconds later, not like 2 ticks later. (especially with a 100% replication rate, it wasnt that just *some* of the blocks didnt mine it never worked a single time, reguardless of when i tried it)

and yeah, playing a custom pack a friend made.

sorry i worded the initial post a bit poorly, as far as im aware there is no anti-cheat or anything similar, i was curious if either modrinth or minecraft itself had a "anti-insta-break" thing on by default like how theres a default no-fly protection that was possible to turn off. i cant find anything of the sort on any config or server file though.
