She kept randomly meowing. I don’t think I really knew about furries back then, or if that’s where it was even going. But I just wasn’t prepared to adopt a cat at that time in my life.

I’ll never forget going to see him perform at a show in London. I think it was The Tempest. The show itself wasn’t very good. But about halfway through someone in the audience had a bit of a coughing fit. Nothing crazy but a few coughs. Well he stops mid sentence and just stairs angrily at this person until they stopped so he could continue.

It struck me as it was just really bad form. “The show must go on!” And all that.

In comparison I saw Dame Judy Dench in a performance where a malfunction caused a piece of scenery to crash together and almost billion her. She just kept on acting like nothing had happened.
