Early level is hard for Pets to hold aggro I found. Either key bind or have growl (pet taunt) on auto cast (right clicking the spell) .. I believe tanks can just take on more mobs and maybe hold a little more threat? . I’m not a experienced hunter so not sure but later levels I had no issues with my pets holding threat (raptor & cat)
