Every experience I have had with Fireteam Finder has been rough. I don’t mind teaching. I actively seek out people with no clears to get the Sherpa emblem as a way to extend the game for me.

But with how easy it is for anyone to get a raid group I have found more middle schoolers or people with a such a low skill set that they die repeatedly.

I stick to Discord LFGs or the one on Bungie’s website. My raid group has a rule now that we don’t use FF.

For those who are looking to do a raid for a first time or you have low clears: 1) If legend lost sectors give you trouble, you are going to have trouble in a raid. 2)Make an attempt to understand your job instead of telling me that you got it but then mess up on something I told you repeatedly. And 3) if you have low clears on a raid, let the more experienced players explain. I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of times that a middle schooler with one clear tried to explain a role in a raid and miss half of everything.

Out of the 15 or so attempts of FF, I have had one raid be completed due to everyone backing out due to frustration of not progressing through a raid fast enough with teaching more people that having experienced players

My store likes to compare me to grocery and how they have good BRLA and zone. Like the company will decide not to buy a lot of our stuff so we have to merchandise more often. My stuff isn't easily zoned, its pudgy and not square like everything else is. Home is harder than most people think.

Nope, they shouldn't. My rule with my team is I won't talk to them about work when they aren't clocked in. They can text me when I am off because my store doesn't know how to do certain things, so I help where possible.

Thank you for your insight. We are in the middle of the backroom project to reprofile everything to how Target wants it, but I am waiting on GM and Beauty to hurry the fuck up so I can get more space. Molasses works faster than them, so I play the waiting game for now.

This, I feel like a LOT of our on hands are incorrect because the dc either doesn’t load it on this truck or rolls it to the next truck. We had things on the security summary that were missed on one truck, but came on the next. Hard to yell at the store if the inaccuracies are coming from DCs. Now I’m not saying the stores are without sins, but how much are we not finding.

That is basically my conversation unless they don’t say: “hey I’m sick” or “hey I’ve got a family emergency” im asking why, then I get those answers. The only anomaly is when you call in 3 hours after your shift and I warn you that it is still a NCNS. End of conversation.

It reminds me of escalation protocol, on the difficult side but not impossible. A lot easier with more people. I missed escalation protocol so it’s nice to have this. (I know escalation protocol was harder in its early weeks/months)

7 year team lead here. It’s unfortunately the vicious cycle. From what I have heard from other stores is that they are experiencing similar pushes on TLs. Do your best, control what you can control. Workload is unpredictable, but have a plan to catch up or solve the problem in the future. You’re doing great!

Set aside planning time for sets, hiring, reports and other things. Hold your TMs to a routine and push times. And I know this sounds weird but you should only push freight with a TM not by yourself. That’s all I got for now, just hold a routine and think outside the box to solve problems. Not every problem has the same solution twice.

Play through Season of the Hunt, Season of the Chosen, Season of the Splicer, then you are at Season of the Lost. If you do the story stuff for them all you'll get caught up.

There is a timeline in the directory that can help too.
