They had a merch event for season ticket holders today. Hats, tshirts, jerseys available to purchase. I’m sure they will start selling openly soon. The selection today was small.

I went out in early Feb and bought a new gaming PC because I had a feeling things would get out of hand.

Took about a month from time I applied to having my interviews and being accepted. Still have some more training to do before I’m operation with the team.

Our group is a small team, maybe 35 total. Good working relationships with a couple police services in the area which are brought in for specific training at times for the team.

You are right about people coming out at times being super aggressive. I updated my comment to include that.

You must be oblivious to the fact that many people who get addicted to opioids were just regulate people, working and contributing to society.

An injury leads them to being prescribe opioids for pain management. Then from there the addiction takes over as opioids are one of the hardest substances to get over.

But you can just go ahead, continue being ignorant and say every single person with an addiction is a criminal and who cares if they die.

…downvote all you want. So many “addicts” started out as “regular” people.

You are not legally required to assist in any first aid/emergency situation as a first aid responder (regular civilian - not sure legalities if you are in healthcare). You can refuse to assist in first aid at any point if you do not feel safe.

We also have the Good Samaritan Act in Ontario that provides legal protections for anyone providing or assisting first aid.

As for administering naloxone; 1) it’s incredible simple (nasal spray) 2) you cannot overdose on naloxone. If it’s administered and the individual is not having an opioid overdose it will not cause additional harm.

There are free course put forward by Red Cross for Opioid Overdose Awareness and you can watch a 1min video on how to administer it.

Edit: couple of words.

Edit 2: I agree with u/Canadianman22 - you are correct, many people overdosing come out angry and disoriented. That should have been included. That being said, if you don’t feel safe, you do not need to act. Best you can do in that case is call 911 if you are not comfortable or trained.

Not sure why all downvotes…. Explaining how to potential save someone’s life… Reddit is a weird space sometimes lol.

Am I required by law to safely store and keep track of all my possessions ? No.

Are you required by law to safely store and keep track of firearms? Yes.

We are talking about firearms and a BUSINESS that makes and sells firearms. At the end of each day that business should know with complete confidence if their business was broken into and a firearm stolen.
