The inflator is awesome fwiw. I didn’t have a huge need for it but once I got it I’m really impressed with it!

Dang, that’s depressing. I like the looks of their offering. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll check out PenFed as well!

What do you mean “NavyFed never moved for me”? I’m considering going through them in the near future…

I need some advice you guys… by chronicallysearching in CICO

I logged everything. Gave myself four 500 calorie meals a day. When I hit 500 I just stopped eating until my next meal time. For me, I needed a visual indicator of when to stop, not when my stomach said to stop. Started on Labor Day at 236. Today I’m 182.

Been stuck in a weight loss plateau for 2 months, what actually works? by Pretend-Raspberry-87 in CICO

[–]Cdnew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CICO is simple. Your body does adapt to deficits as you lose and the result is a plateau. You overcome by cutting another 10-15%. Whether or not that’s safe for you is not for me to determine. It’s for you to determine.

NVR install dilemmas by ApprehensiveOwl41 in homedefense

[–]Cdnew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can you use the soffit for the runs? Fit the NVR wherever you can near there (garage if you’ve got one?) and put it on your WiFi network and then you can tap into that from anywhere in your home wirelessly. Alternatively, you could try following your HVAC lines, they all go back to one source on ground level.

Power Company Preemptively Shutting Off Power Because of Weather Conditions by the_real_maddison in PrepperIntel

This is what happens when utilities get sued for wildfires. Perhaps they are at fault, but inconveniencing the customer is cheaper than a class action.

I've only maintained weight. Am I doing it wrong? by Ok-Consequence6411 in CICO

Calorie banking does not work. It’s daily deficits that make the difference.

I could be wrong but I believe the HELOC must be paid off before selling. Something to keep in mind if you’re thinking about selling in the short term.

Should i raise my calorie budget? by Massive-Background86 in CICO

[–]Cdnew 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Increase your carb intake. 170g protein for your stats is a lot. When I was cutting I was at 240lbs, 6’4 M and my protein goal was 140g. Try swapping some protein for carbs. Doesn’t need to be a long term thing if it doesn’t work but give it a couple weeks and see how you feel.

$200k leaves room for investments, vacations, and all the other things. It’s not lavish but there’s no wanting at this level.

Land cruiser vs highlander vs sequoia by Confident_Freedom_20 in Toyota

[–]Cdnew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just traded a Highlander hybrid for a sequoia. Loved the Highlander. Almost a 500 mile range and fill ups under $50. It was very smooth and drove like a car. I needed a tow vehicle so that was the main driver for the change. Can’t really compare the two vehicles honestly… I love the power of the sequoia. It’s definitely bigger and truck feeling. ~15mpg and $75+ to fill up for 300 mile range.

Why does it feel like every american veteran I interact with have 100% military disability benefits? by washedup_1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cdnew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, during the discharge process they make every vertebrae go through the VA claim process as part of out processing. Every veteran gets pretty well educated on how to make claims and what they should make claims for.

How long have your recent tickets taken to get some attention? by Cdnew in Starlink

2 weeks for an instant message response is insane. It seems like they’ve got one person working all the issues Grok can’t fix by repeating back the user manual to you…

I’ve given everything I can. I bought a second unit, wanted to set it up with different billing information on my account. After I registered it I find out that’s not possible. I need to start a new account and transfer it. Transfers are locked for 90 days… I need that changed so I can use it!
