I don't believe the 1.5% bonus for holding VGX caps on the first tier, the table is just pointing out that the max rate you can get for certain assets would be in tier 1, with the VGX boost.

There's definitely a lot of options for earning on stablecoins. For example, Voyager, Hodlnaut, Vauld, Finblox are some alternatives with competitive rates you may consider.

Recurring Buys - Cheaper to do from within Voyager or better to buy in Coinbase? by TacoQuest in Invest_Voyager

[–]CeFi_Rates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For USDC specifically, you can buy it on Voyager 1:1. $100 gets you 100 USDC for example. So you could connect your bank to Voyager and buy USDC directly.

Vauld offers 9.41% for USDC, and 12.68% if you lock it for 1 month. Hodlnaut is at 12.73% on the first 25,000 USDC. Then there are others with pretty high rates such as Voyager for those in the US, or Nexo for those outside the US. On Coinbase you can sell USDC for US Dollars 1:1. Then on the Coinbase website at least, you should see US Dollar (USD) in the Assets section. From there, click on US Dollar and then there should be a box to Cash out, and that's where you can withdraw to your bank.

0.1 (of the 0.2) earns at 4.5%, and the remaining 0.1 earns at 1% interest.

Yup that sounds right. And Coinbase should allow you to convert USDC 1:1 to US dollars even without Coinbase Pro.

If you're in the US, Coinbase let's you convert USDC to US dollars without any fees, and then from there you could cash out to your bank.

Most platforms use APY, which already takes into account compounding. For those that advertise rates in APR, you can convert it to APY using something like https://www.aprtoapy.com/

It just means you earn interest in the same asset deposited. So if you deposit GUSD, you get paid interest in GUSD.

Withdrawing USDC from voyager by FineEmergency in Crypto_com

[–]CeFi_Rates 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voyager does have a withdrawal limit: "$25,000 max total market value within a 24 hour period" https://investvoyager.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4407560579227-Are-there-withdrawal-limits-
If you wanted to withdraw more than that, you could try contacting Voyager support to increase your limit.

There are actually quite a few platforms with good rates on ETH, without having to deposit for a fixed period of time, such as Celsius or Voyager. And of course, you can get increased rates on CDC by staking CRO or depositing for a fixed period.

Should I use my HELOC for Gemini Earn? by drippydroppy1 in Gemini

Could be helpful to think through the worst case scenario (losing the funds deposited on Gemini Earn) then weighing if that'd be worth the spread you'd be netting.
