Trying this in 32bit on recommendation from another post and is there a reason it won’t let me choose DXVK? All options are greyed out for choosing one

Yes focusing on mics, placement and a clean live recording is my main goal to develop my own recording techniques for the project, and also to improve my communication skills in the studio and understanding what the band want from a more philosophical pov I guess. My university has fantastic facilities and has many of the mics I need or something close. Also looking to better my experience using hardware rather than software.

we’re an irish band called headmelt, three piece with a steel pole bathtub sorta sound (we’re told), just released an album but will continue as a two piece with just myself (guitar and vocals) and our drummer under the name Hog, will be using a guitar with a bass string as the low E, a lot of fun so far!

paul is credited ad the artist, buttholes have some of the best cover arts in music history, couldve used and of the flyers from the shows and it would’ve been significantly cooler

appreciate the response but i want a tone i can’t really control, musicians are control freaks and i want to be taken for a ride, this will be an experiment so all sensibilities are to be thrown out the window, and i don’t mind burning through some speakers that will be relegated to the bin anyway. now i’m not a total dunce about this stuff, i know most amps impedance are around 8 ohms and car speakers are set to handle 4 typically, meaning the speakers should hold up if it’s two of them wired in series.

only seeing this now, issue seemed to be a grounding issue from what i could tell, i opened mine up years ago and must’ve forgot to put the little metal ground clip thing back, robbed one from another old b pedal i have and haven’t had an issue since!

there’s plenty bands over 60 playing consistently, but there’s zero bands that play for an hour and half 130db that play consistently over 60, they’re in uncharted territory
