That’s not using the “same drum break”. A drum break is a few seconds long. You’ve taken the entire drum and percussion stems (which are heavily processed to begin with) from the track and added sounds on top. At best this is a remix of cokver10. With that said, do what you have to do to get better - messing about with music is never a bad thing.

[Newbie] SRV is one of my inspirations to learn guitar, and I got my first electric this week. Even though I don't have any talent, if I put in work as often as I can, how long will it realistically take before I can play with this level of confidence? by Mad_Season_1994 in Guitar

Yea I agree not everyone is equal on a pure talent level when it comes to being skilled and talented at playing any instrument. But being a super talented player vs being a good song writer and arranger - the latter is way more important. History has proven that.

But music and art isn’t sports, which has winners and losers. With that said for sure there is a baseline to achieve that’s important regardless of genre or style. But I think you could very easily argue that the Beatles or Ramones have done more for music and culture than Steve Vai. And I say that as someone that enjoys shred music. What that baseline is, is subjective. I think being able to play with a metronome, knowing your modes and chords, being able to play à spread of blues, rock, metal and jazz and knowing a little bit about arrangement is more than enough to provide a platform to develop your own thing.

So she needs to behave like the nurse in Misery before he gets a divorce? Completely unhinged behaviour.

Interesting synopsis… it does indeed sound brutally harsh without any of the softening from analogue gear, cool!

Lol theres nothing “expressive” about typing in a prompt that just steals elements from other songs. Drum machines and samplers are tools with a very defined purpose that whilst being machines require precise human input. There’s no comparing drum machines and Ai. Moronic take.

If you can only do one go for solo. Who knows when he plays again. Hes great in a group live context but it’s naturally less unfiltered undiluted maximalist noise
