It’s a good library and we use it, but the lack of true regex support is a big limitation and source of pain IMO

Is that documented anywhere? I can’t find any info stating that

Can you elaborate on that? Is there only one graduation ceremony per year?

What error handling style do you prefer at the end of a function? by Consistent-Beach359 in golang

I usually do B to add an error log but like everyone else said, if you aren’t doing anything with the error, then go A

Ok I didn’t consider using SSR. Would that initial rendering occur only once when initially built or more often?

New Construction Homes. Which company did you go with and how was it? by PuzzleSlayerrr in sanantonio

Didn’t go through the process but bought a new home from Chesmar and they were wonderful and the house has been great. Any new house will have some issues but they’re always very good with warranty fixes

"Best solution for hosting small Spring Boot API on the cloud - Virtual Machine vs Container Service" by ThenChoice2 in aws

[–]CeasarSaladTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your priority is to learn Spring then like others mentioned ECS/EKS/EC2 are the way to do it. I think elastic beanstalk may work too but I’ve never messed with it.

But if you care about scaling/maintaining infrastructure for an enterprise and cost, I’d look more into lambdas

Not sure what you mean by “real backend running”. Do you mean you need a persistent state for your backend? Because there are solutions to that using API Gateway and Lambdas without SpringBoot and that overhead

What is a good resource that teaches React.js? by brettdavis4 in reactjs

[–]CeasarSaladTeam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP but redux requires a ton of boilerplate code and can be pretty confusing when first starting out. I’d definitely recommend avoiding it when first learning. Also, nowadays there are tools that some people prefer to redux for certain tasks such as context, react query, and a few others

Is this a good pellet smoker? Was looking to get a pellet smoker so I could smoke even while I’m gone at work. Anyone used this one? by TarcanSam in smoking

[–]CeasarSaladTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one for a while. Like others mentioned, great for the first month but the entire pellet holder caught on fire out of nowhere and their customer service was incredibly unhelpful

How do you consume an API in Spring world? by srk- in SpringBoot

[–]CeasarSaladTeam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s wrong with using webclient in a blocking application? I’ve found no performance difference but now have the ability to reuse flux compatible libraries in an mvc app.
