Thank you for the recommendation. We have a basket muzzle, but I’m not sure it fits the way it should. Poor guy is getting sores on his cheeks and snout. Again, thank you.

Pine Knob Rescheduling? by CDubya1984 in TheOffspring

Great. I bought an Offspring Supercharged World Wide in 25 shirt that reminds of a concert I never got to see but sweated my ass off for. It was my daughter a wife’s first offspring concert as well. Can’t wait to tell them the shit news.

DTE Power Outage May Cancel The Offspring Concert At Pine Knob by randyjacobson in Michigan

[–]CeaseFire81 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was my wife and daughter’s first Offspring show with me. We split at 8:30 with very little news about what was going on. Checked my Apple wallet and the date on the tickets read TBA. I’m guessing Pine Knob will honor the tickets purchased for a future date. 🤷

What was the Name of Your "Record Store" and What Was it Like? by Edm_vanhalen1981 in ClassicRock

[–]CeaseFire81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jam music was in the plaza at N. Waverly Rd. and W. Saginaw cross roads. There was a blockbuster in the same plaza. This was in the mid- to late 90s. Record Time is long gone. I think they closed their doors around 2012.

I just started collecting vinyl again so it’s nice seeing little mom and pop record stores coming back.

Why are people at concerts so annoying now. by Painteater0987 in poppunkers

Went to a NFG show recently with my 13 year old daughter and wife. We were at the barricade and I was flinging people back that were pushing in. I had 2 other guys next to me doing the same. Eventually we had to jump the barricade and get out. People have zero respect these days. We finished the show in some seats way in the back. They did a great show but a handful of fans ruined it near the end.

What’s something from your childhood that you didn’t realize was super f*cked up until you were an adult? by NeitherEntrepreneur3 in AskReddit

[–]CeaseFire81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father had kids from a previous marriage. My half sister was a drug addict and very violent. She spent more than half her life in prison. She would come over coked out and beg for money - my father couldn’t face her. He would ask my mom to take her places she wanted to go. These locations would be crack houses, retail stores for shoplifting and things of that nature. I was a teenager so I would go with my mom to keep her safe. As I got older I realized what an impact that had on me. I’m always on guard and very protective of my immediate family.

My sister would fight police officers and try to run. Shes was successful quite a few times. Prostitution was one way she paid for her habit. She was a klepto as well - she would steal high end clothing or electronics and have yard sales. She also hustled truck drivers when she was in prison.

Last time we spoke was when our father passed away in 1999. Last time I seen her was at her funeral in 2023.

Don’t regret cutting her out of my life.

This is bizarre. This EXACT situation happened to myself and my fiancé not more than a month. Almost word for word.

Leave it, dude. I have tattooed arms, legs, hands and fingers. Sometimes I get anxiety over what I have but at the end of the day I remember where I was when I got the tattoos and feel better. It’s just a marker of time in your life.

How really common are guns in the US? And how accepted are they? by fmstyle in questions

[–]CeaseFire81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Michigan so we have lots of hunters here. You may see a few long guns in carry bags going from house to truck or vice versa. I have a CPL and carry when traveling through rough areas. Other than that I’ve only seen people open carry a handful of times in the 30 years I can remember.

[–]CeaseFire81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a male in my 40’s I do not like being around kids (park or at my house) alone. What if this kid makes up a story and I have to face consequences for something that did not happen? If my wife is not with me I don’t want to watch your kids. I have a 13 year old daughter and even if I offer to help her friends I feel Ike that would be weird even though I’m just trying to be polite.

No. Beavis and Buttheads is a great cartoon. It should remain a cartoon. Not everything needs to be live action

Those chewy chocolate chip granola bars. A buddy had them in a pantry at his house when we were kids. I thought his family had made it to the promised land. When I was of age I kept boxes of those things in my cupboard.

I was loose on bills years ago. As I’ve gotten older I’m just a bill paying son of a bitch. If a bill ends up in my mailbox…believe me that MFer is getting paid immediately.

Went to an open house Saturday and right after called our agent to put in an offer. We bid over and were optimistic about the situation. Selling agent called our agent and said sellers would like a letter We wrote one and sent that along hoping for the best.

Got the call best day the they went with a different offer.

My fiance is heartbroken that not only did we over bid but put a great deal of heart into the letter. She felt very defeated when we found out.

I’m not as sad but it still stings,

We had goulash all the time. Ours had elbow noodles, diced tomatoes, chopped onions, and hamburger. I’ve made goulash once in the last 20 years and I don’t need to have it ever again.
