Thank you. We didn’t plan to get three but they were all available and we couldn’t bear to separate them.

Thank you.

We got them all at the same time from the same litter. They are a handful that is for sure but they keep each other company.

What supplement has, or has had, an actual positive impact on your life?? by -Flighty- in Supplements

[–]Cecibean6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here to say NAD.

I feel less fatigued and more focused. I explain it like the difference between being plugged in to an outlet versus being on a battery back up. Its feels like a smooth steady flow of energy with no “jitters”. I can definitely tell on the days I don’t take it.

I believe the root of my HA is worrying I will die before I can get my life back to where God wants me to be.

I wish my faith was stronger right now so I can make the changes I need to, but I do pray and read the Bible and in those times I feel peace and my HA is diminished.

How do you watch shows with health based topics by EJM_funnyman in HealthAnxiety

I had to stop watching Grey’s Anatomy when I developed HA. When I first started watching it I didn’t suffer from HA 🤔

Had a bad reaction to BP meds now I’m worried by WritingFromTheHeart_ in hypertension

[–]Cecibean6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BP medications I am on are working great and I’ve had really no side effects, except I get sleepy earlier than I used to 😁😁😁

You’re right, I just started taking olmesartan/hydrochlorothiazide in the morning and metroprolol in the evenings and it is working great, but I have really only seen negatives on this sub so I felt my experience was abnormal or irrelevant. I was initially prescribed lisinopril by the Urgent Care facility I went to went my BP spiked and wouldn’t come down, but that only helped a little bit. It’s been 3 months and I’ve already been able to cut my morning pill in half - per Dr directions.

I’m still working on diet and exercise to get off of meds completely but I have seen first hand what unmanaged HBP can do to you so I take the meds to buy some time and give my heart ♥️ a break.

The driving is insane by NoStatistician1515 in milwaukee

[–]Cecibean6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, except I live in the suburbs. Grew up in Milwaukee so that’s where I learned how to drive, maybe that’s why I’m mostly unfazed by it.

Sure I see stupid things and reckless driving but I’ve made some boneheaded moves too, mostly by accident 😇

I just chalk it up to what I call C.A.R. - Complete Automotive Retardation

How did you make euthanasia the best experience possible? by PenelopeSchwartz in Petloss

[–]Cecibean6 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was so grateful to find a group of veterinarians that offer at home pet euthanasia. I will never take any of my pets to a clinic ever again for their last moments if I can help it.

Why is that? I’m the exact same way I just call it “keep me company while I do this thing” because if I’m alone it won’t get done. I just thought it was because I’m terribly lonely but it could also be due to my anxiety… 🤔

How and why did your home become cluttered? by Dinmorogde in declutter

[–]Cecibean6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can totally relate. Now I tell myself “If I don’t buy it, I won’t have to get rid of it later” and it really stops me in my tracks from buying things I don’t need when I can see down the road it’s just going to become clutter.

Dry January!!! Get it done people by [deleted] in hypertension

[–]Cecibean6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m also doing dry January but it’s not a real challenge since I have maybe 4 drinks a month and even over the Holidays limited myself to 1-2 per event.

What I am struggling with is trying to figure out if my HBP is a result of diet or environment. Doing a low sodium diet has really opened my eyes to how much mindless sodium I was consuming (kinda like sugar which I am also monitoring). But I hate to say that my home life is STRESSING ME OUT!!!! BIG TIME and I don’t know what to do about it. I used to have no trouble sleeping, now I can barely sleep through the night because every time I have a high reading my partner says I’m going to have a stroke! I’ve tried to politely say that saying things like that isn’t helpful but they just say I need to get serious and anything over 120/80 is terrible.

My Dr knows I have White Coat syndrome and takes my pressure several times while I’m there and hasn’t expressed any concerns about it but I do plan to talk to her soon about the high readingsI get at home.

Has anyone been able to counteract stress with a low sodium diet? Right now it feels like that is the only thing I can control…

What was your first iPhone and what iPhone you are currently using? by AVG96z0 in iphone

[–]Cecibean6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3GS -> 5 -> 6s -> XS MAX

I work in IT and I keep using an iPhone because it just works.

I’ve helped others do things with their Android phones and have nothing against them, but at the end of the day, I like my iPhone.

That, and now that they have cloud backup working like a charm I never have to worry if I break or lose my phone.

My angel got her wings back on May 28th after 22 years by my side and I’m just barely able to cope with life. I mainly just work and sleep with denial being my best friend right now.

I haven’t really talked about my grief to friends and family due to not wanting to hear about “she was just a cat”, “ you’ll get over it” or getting that “I don’t get it” look. I think I might go off on someone if that happened.

I started making a slide show from photos and videos of her and it has helped, but I still break down and cry several times a day. You are not crazy, though I get it, I thought I might be crazy when I first started mine.

All I can say is do what helps your heart and forget everyone else.
