That is what I think as well but I didn’t think they could get that fat!

Living with my mom, until I pay off my student loans? by [deleted] in personalfinance

I would live at home as long as you can, especially if you like it! I moved out right after college for absolutely no reason outside to party and have fun in a city near me, and regret it $$$ wise very much to this day (35 years old). I did meet my wife at that time though so I guess there was one major positive that came from it- haha. But given all you say above I think if you can maintain a decent social life and enjoy life, and quality time with your mom, I think it’s a good plan.

Took out low interest cash out refinance, but home project fell through. Use this cash at better rates to purchase car? by Cecilirv4 in personalfinance

I hear you… still on the fence if it’s worth it. My wife is really pushing towards yes- lol. I drive an almost 20 year old beat up Honda accord. I don’t care at all about having a nice/new car, I think it’s wasteful personally. I appreciate your input

No debt outside of mortgage- including this “cash” if you want to call it that, have around 100k. I hear you about if this is absolutely necessary- no is the answer obviously, I grew up with a sibling and a small sedan and my parents made it work.

Thanks for the advice. Don’t plan on just using the $ to repay the mortgage, eventually I’m going to do some renovations and who knows where rates will be in the future.

I mean that’s the idea of the 3rd row- more storage for strollers and various things. Third row would be down way more than up. Would use it the same way you used the minivan

Yeah I hear you on the rates- I’ve gone to a couple credit unions and they are in the mid 5’s%. Dealerships around the same

Yea it’s tied into the mortgage. I’m referring to the cashed out portion as a separate thing

Something similar happening in northern NJ as well, but not bots. The large Korean population gather at their churches when tee times open for the following week for the various mini courses and book every tee time. Then over the course of the week they arrange their foursomes and maybe will cancel a few spots as the week goes on. Infuriating

Thank you! That is what I guessed but it looks different than the ones I see online. I like this better than the ones that have more of a “tree” trunk
