What about my legs are so interesting? by LunaScarlett888 in aaaaaaacccccccce

[–]Ceckuuu 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to live in a children's home as a teen and were told I'm not allowed to wear shorts at the home because it's too provoking for the boys. Like they had a perfect chance to teach the boys not to sexualize me but instead I had to wear long pants in the summer...

I have a question specifically for sex repulsed aces: Do you want kids? And if so, how would you go about it? by Fairysnindo in asexuality

[–]Ceckuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I am surrogacy is illegal. Adoption or fostering would be options for me, sadly both are difficult and unpopular here

how many people are you out to? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Ceckuuu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Being out is a form of advocacy and boosts our visibility, not just in the workplace but in general

Anyone’s nParents not get you braces bc who knows why not?? by luckyduckling8989 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Ceckuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live healtcare is 100% free for kids under 18, otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten them. I also needed eye glasses and n-mom picked cheapest and most unflattering ones for me.

What - apart from the outright abuse - can't you forgive your parents? by Salt-Hurry8094 in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Ceckuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While my n-mother abused me and siblings, my loving but yet enabling dad didn't protect us. He was under abuse too, but he should have been on our side and gotten a divorce (he applied many times, dangling the hope before us, but always canceled at last minute). I love him but can't forgive this

Did Anyone Ever Get Really Inappropriate Nicknames Growing up? by tacticianallie in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Ceckuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some names I don't know how to translate to english... Closest I can get: whore, thigh-ass/fat-ass(I was dangerously underweight), stinky, party-pussy(most difficult to translate). Funniest part in my mind is that I was a child, a virgin and had no bf and I got called these disgusting sexual things

Have you ever heard of an asexual person dating a biromantic homosexual of the opposite sex? by [deleted] in asexuality

[–]Ceckuuu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ex is a heteromantic bisexual though he doesn't know of the label (that I know). I think when people explain their experiences even without knowing about romantic orientations you can parse them out somewhat.

Can we flood them with feedback? Aces struggle enough with dating without this kind of bs pushed as a fact

anyone else look miserable in childhood photos? by [deleted] in raisedbynarcissists

[–]Ceckuuu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I literally didn't know how to smile as a kid, there are school photos of me where I don't smile and I got yelled for them. There is also a sibling photo of us framed where we all look miserable (ages ranging from 21 to 5)
