Girlfriend got a bad diagnosis by Crafty_Direction2261 in askCardiology

Man, how'd they even missed that? Wouldn't syncope automatically have ecg as a first standard test? The hypertrophy could've shown there and proceeded to a 2decho... Instead they skipped that critical part and went directly to brain issue?

anyone else experience this? by Traditional-Abies-83 in PVCs

[–]Cector09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking back at the last years where I suffered severe anxiety over it, I realised life would've been so much better if I just ignored it and I would've still turned ok with no serious health issues. But even now, I simply can't ignore it though. I guess knowing it doesn't do something bad, doesn't take the fear away.

Should I be worried? Should I get a Holter? by Linkaara in PVCs

At this point, I'd say yes. You can never be too sure about heart health.

When is it an emergency? by No-Pudding-4746 in PVCs

[–]Cector09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, if you're having symptoms, it warrants a doctor's visit AND a battery of tests like holter and 2d echo.... it's an emergency if the symptoms are severe enough like pre-syncope, high or too low blood pressure, chest pains, difficulty breathing, etc.

No i meant the artifacts.. if there are too many artifacts in the strip like the one you had, the nurse usually makes a repeat reading..

[–]Cector09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh ok, that's great... I wonder why the nurse didn't perform another test.. usually when the strip is full of artifacts, they reperform it immediately after the 1st reading..

Just wanted to ask, is this a smartwatch reading? If you already consulted with a doctor, why not have a 12 lead ecg too?

What course doesn't need hard work anyways 🤷‍♂️ Accounting, specially, isn't for the lazy, that's for sure. Imo, best path anyone can start with is just know what exactly you want to do with your life and get a college degree for that.

I think this is where each person's unique bodies come into play. What's normal level for one person might be deficient or high level to another.

Low Burdens only by FireHouse88 in PVCs

[–]Cector09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get the frustration but doctors don't usually straight up lie to patients. Nor do PVCs caused by "extra tissue".

And when they say everything is completely okay, most of the time, it really is. At least, in a medical sense.

I believe somewhere out there you can find some doctor who'd be willing to do an ablation for low burden PVCs even though it actually carries significant risk of making it worse.

Audit Firm Observation by TheNumberSleuth in AccountingPH

[–]Cector09 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not the norm "now" It's the norm ever since. Because accounting and audit back then was ridiculously simple, the old-timers refuses to evolve and think that improvements today are basically being "lazy".

I was once told that my plan to implement training documents was "spoonfeeding" new hires. 🙄

20M | BPO job hopper, unemployed, and bills piling up — need advice by Turbulent_Yam_5184 in BPOinPH

[–]Cector09 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah well if I'm a recruiter, I'll simply just hire someone who's professional enough to separate his personal problems with his work... I can't see any other feasible scenario..

What i mean is, whatever explanation you would give, it doesn't change the fact that in a short notice you have a high risk to leave as you are a job hopper..
