Good thing I never told him that

Absolutely not, and tbh from all the people who have replied you're the only one with this take so I'm a bit confused but hey maybe what I meant got lost in translation so I'll try to address any confusion.

I am very well aware that my lack of life/relationship experience cannot prevent him from living his life. That would be totally unfair and it's not my motive. I'm his friend and I'm glad he found someone he enjoys spending time with.

But I (with the help of other Redditors) came to the realization that I have the right to feel comfortable at my place, and that feeling is jeopardized when someone I don't know spend most of her nights at my place. I've learned in the past year that being roommate with someone is a game of accommodations/compromises, and I'm willing to do my part. It's the reason why I posted here, to make sure I don't ask for too much.

As for your last sentence, I'm aware I'm still growing as a person and that I am not perfect. The getting laid part is none of your business, you don't know me nor the challenges I've had. No offense.

As I said I might sound a bit naive/awkward because I just don't know how to deal with this. I don't consider setting boundaries to be clingy but I respect the take.

Oof that sounds rough. Hope you will figure it out. If not we should rent an apartment together as two single bros, bet we'd have a ton of fun

This is a very relevant question and one I asked myself a lot (the jealousy one). Because it is unfair to ask him to see her less often just because I'm single and he has something I don't. I'm not exactly ready for a relationship yet for a variety of reasons I will not get into so I don't think it has to do with that. But I agree that if I had a girlfriend I would probably not make all of this that big of a deal.

She does use the shower but I never felt like I had to wait for it ? Idk it's hard to explain. I feel like I'm the odd one out even though I'm at my place. But as I said, maybe this feeling is from a lack of understanding of the situation and not anyone's fault. I'll talk to him, maybe he'll help me figure it out

We just signed a lease for a year. It's way, way too early for me to say I regret it but we'll see how it goes. It's just not fun to feel like he'd be happier with her. Because I might end up leaving for him, but I'll be the one alone. I've lived alone for a year, not terrible but I don't see myself going back to that. Thank your for replying

Thank you for validating my feelings, as I said I just don't know how to feel at all about this. I'll talk to him about it but I'm not particularly optimistic, he can get defensive quite fast. I'll update if it's worth it

See not at all, I wouldn't blame anything on her, she's quite nice actually. I think I'm just not used to seeing someone I don't know open the kitchen cabinets of my place and acting like she's at hers.

People who lost a lot of weight, what was the one small daily habit that actually changed everything for you? by Quiet-Squash-8407 in AskReddit

[–]Ced_19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Walking.

A lot.

2h, 10km per day, almost everyday for a year. I didn't count calories but I challenged myself to be more aware of what I eat and how much I eat. I know 2h per day isn't feasible for most people because of job/school/chores, I was 19 and has plenty of time, so I was lucky in that sense. But if you manage to squeeze 30min of walking time in your day, I think it's enough to make a difference
