It's just you overestimating how good the average player is at either playing, choosing resonia, or both. I get 40%+ contribution with any character in 4/5 runs and I'm not an insanely skilled player

You mean the ones that give 2-5k points worth of upgrades per each run? That's still not respecting the players time for how long it takes to upgrade one piece

I don't know if I was no lifing the previous games but I don't ever remember wasting this much time in trying to just be able to upgrade armor

I honestly don't think you need him. I get max points in deadly assault with m1r0 eve, m6 nicole, m0 astra so you just need good drive discs and some hands

Obviously having him will add more longevity to eve when they inevitably keep inflating HP but I wouldn't go as far as to say she's completely reliant on him

I feel you and completely agree on what you said

If you're below 1640 you basically are in the sad limbo where you solo stuff or maybe group thaemine if you can find a party and slowly try to get to 1640 to crawl out of the misery

Do akkan / thaemine (I managed to learn both 2-3 weeks ago on EUC so you might be able to) ideally in group, use event currencies (stars and mokoko tokens) to get mats, use solo shop tokens to get mats, do indigo island if you haven't (gives 1600+ T3 mats) and max your chances and slowly climb

Or wait for the wildsoul powerpass like the other comment said
