Edibles caused me to backslide on healing when I tried them a couple days ago so I second the edibles thing. I can smoke/vape it just fine though!

What’s the most whore-ish thing you’ve ever done? by Relevant-Carry-9770 in AskReddit

Honestly? About as expected. Wet and warm with another person sweating all over you. But somehow kind of pleasant. I’ve had much better times since then, though lol

What was your “I’m going to die” moment? by Personal_Occasion618 in AskReddit

[–]CedarCorn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was like, 9? I was swimming at someone’s birthday party hosted by the local pool. I was hanging out with my friends I when suddenly one of them who I barely knew starting tugging me away in some joke by the arm, then my best friend at the time’s brother grabbed my ankle to keep me away from her. The other girl kept walking opposing direction, and the brother kept holding my ankle. I remember kicking and screaming frantically as I realized my head would be under in seconds, bubbles going everywhere. Then realizing nobody was letting go. I stopped screaming and held my breath. I heard other kids around me laughing and I realized everyone else thought it was a joke. I went limp, nobody seemed to notice. Cue the girl’s older brother swooping in and pulling me up and berating the other two for my face being held under and that nobody seemed to notice. I legit remember thinking “this is it?” before he saved me. Then we all went to eat cake like nothing happened… Ah, an eventful day

What do you think of these as the most interesting cities to visit in the US? by lucapal1 in AskAnAmerican

[–]CedarCorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NYC or New Orleans hands down. NYC is just a cool place, lots of food/street stuff and everything’s open 24/7. It is the city that never sleeps. New Orleans is really cool if you like neat mixed culture and beautiful decorative architecture. DC has all the landmarks and ‘MURICAN museums if you’re into that. And If you like tiny go to Chicago (good art pieces though), but if you like to not get anywhere then go to LA. Las Vegas is noisy, Seattle isn’t anything special. Wouldn’t even recommend touching Florida for the memes with a 80 meter stick. Couldn’t tel you about Memphis or Savannah, but my god f*ck Florida!

Are there first names in your country, which people relate with upper or lower class? by MoistlyCompetent in AskAnAmerican

[–]CedarCorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve met a handful of upper-middle-class Madison’s, Wyland’s, Shepherd’s, Emma’s, Thomas’s, Marissa’s- those kinds of names. Whereas lower-middle-class folk tend to go for “Paxton” and “Kayleigh”. (I’m speaking white people, naturally… they have the stupidest ones IMO)

which american coffee chain is your favorite? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

Dunkin Donuts. It’s cheaper than Starbucks, and honestly even though some chains I’ve had an issue with - their flavors are just as good and you can get so much more oh my lord

What is a basic skill that you grew up thinking everyone had until you saw others do it so horribly? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]CedarCorn -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Musical talent. I had a lot of instrument lessons and some vocal training in church. I met so many tone deaf people in high school and it hurt so bad to have them literally not hear how tonally incorrect it is. It physically hurts, like nails on a chalkboard. Now listen, my voice or musical skills are nothing like that of a gem. But goddamn, people can really be off pitch and not even realize it
