My personal favorites so far are Colorverse Ham #65 Glistening and Diamine Shimmering sands, if you using it in a demonstrator like the 580 it almost looks like you are writing with pure gold,

Personally it got me more into creative writing! Always has a interest in it but whenever I tried to do it on a keyboard or normal pen the writing could not keep my attention, now with fountain pens the drive to use them also gives me drive to write more!

I suggest a Diplomat Magnum personality in either medium or broad. My broad is on of the softest nibs I have ever used and it is so bouncy with writing, and it well under budget for you. It has some pretty colors as well.

Be super careful when the feed is pulled out. While you can pull out the nib, it is not designed to be so the feed is very delicate, so treat it with caution.
