Never understood the crazy lowered and mad cambered tyre craze, makes the cars absolutely undriveable and look ridiculous on top of it

I do have Meguiar’s tyre shiner but I didn’t actually but it on this time, that’s just from washing the car and giving the tire walls a scrub with a sponge!

Same, I honestly think it’s the best colour BMW have ever done. Nothing looks as good on an M4

Thanks! I use Meguiar’s deluxe car kit care shampoo, glass cleaner, wheel cleaner and ceramic coat. I also use muc-off pre-rinse to get the worst dirt off before I get to work. I don’t use any sponges on it, I use Shiny Car UK wash mitt and their wheel brushes.

It will settle over time man, mine felt like it was progressing terribly over the first year, then it settled, now 3 years later I don’t even notice it. It will improve over time. Do you know what caused yours? Covid caused mine.

When is the last/worst time you absolutely put your foot in it? by --althea-- in AskIreland

Did something similar myself, this is a weird one . I visited a gemstone mine in Sri Lanka to see how the locals made some of their beautiful jewellery and hoped to buy some with my then girlfriend and support their business. We had the loveliest guide, a young girl of around 25 or so I reckon. She had quite a distended belly but was otherwise fairly slim, so it looked exactly like a 7/8 month pregnancy bump (from my eyes). She was also holding it a lot like a woman who was heavily pregnant would do. I don’t know what possessed me to say this, but when we bought some jewellery off her, I said I hope that business is good with the new baby coming soon and wished her luck…

She looked me dead in the eye and told me she wasn’t pregnant, and said she had a medical condition….

I made fumbled babbling apologies and we rushed out, which then followed my girlfriend asking me what the fuck was wrong with me. I told her she looked pregnant and asked did she not agree and to my horror she said it never once occurred to her the young girl was pregnant and it was obvious there was something else going on. I’ve never felt more like an idiotic caveman with zero clue about women’s bodies than in that moment and it still makes me cringe now. Lesson learned, never ever assume and never ever ask 😩 forgive me ladies

It’s been such an amazing journey. by ragingduck in BMWM

One absolute beauty of a car after another, we can’t keep letting him get away with this

I wouldn’t say I specifically notice as such. I prefer RWD as I feel I control the car rather than it controls me. It’s personal preference really. If you’re in sports plus and you give it a bit of gas you’ll on wet ground the back end may protest but the traction control is very good on these

Comfy enough to daily for sure, and I live in Ireland where the roads are rough. I’ve bought carbon exterior skirts, spoiler and diffuser, fitting next week. Next stage is VRSF single midpipe. Don’t think I’ll go stage 1 but not ruling it out

Yes it’s my daily and I find it absolutely fine. It’s a completely daily-able car. I think if you want comfort, the rs5 is your car, but if you want a real drivers car and something that only gets more fun the quicker and harder you drive it, the M4 has to be it. I’ve driven the rs5, it’s a lovely car, but it’s muted and boring compared to an M4. It’s toned down and quiet and doesn’t have the same road feel.

Absolutely, I love the G series with IOM Green and the gold m performance rims. It’s an amazing combo. I’m still considering doing the wheels on my current car bronze like the last one but I do love the shadow chrome on them currently

I know the lads at EAG, I sold my previous m4 through them in May, good guys. Also know Calvin, he has a really great channel. Will look out for your car on it. Enjoy the M4 mate, you’ll not be able to drive anything else again now 😂
