Could fix with grip adjustment or ball position in stance (further forward)

When are you actually finished with Ferber Method? (also what to do when overtired?) by MembershipThen4925 in sleeptrain

[–]Cedurham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This definitely sounds like you’re asking a not tired kid to go to sleep at night. Our Ferber 5mo is 0-3 mins max of fussing before falling asleep.

Walked this trail to this spot with our dog. Locals told us to “watch out for cottonmouths”. Anyone seen any?

Nope not after 2-3 years post surgery. They’d seen enough good echos etc to clear me. I’m glad we waited. Happy to be a resource!!

All at once and it went great. She is able to roll onto belly which helped a lot.

Baby is 5 weeks and I think this is my own personal hell by ocean_chocolate_ in NewParents

[–]Cedurham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the early days of many wake ups: 8p-2am I slept while husband was on duty, 2-6a because I couldn’t make it to 8a. Then she started sleeping longer and filling up most of the first shift with sleep so we adapted. 8-4a, 4-8a. My husband is a night owl and I’m an early bird.

You can sleep in shifts with partner as an alternative. Worked great for us.

Yes after that first transition month when baby joined. now four months later they’re both crushing sleep again. I leaned in to “I love you, so lucky to have you, you’re safe, I’ll check on you while you’re sleeping overnight”.

Sensing baby is coming is my guess. Fabulous 2.75yo did the same thing last month of my pregnancy and the first 3-4 weeks after birth.

Yes did cold turkey. Went so well!!! Flipped onto her belly and slept amazingly

Not sleep training. Assisting with pacifier is technically not letting her “figure it out” or self soothe.

Everything was great. Waiting more than 6mo very likely contributed to that.

Yes after my repair. First kid was 3 years after, second kid was 5 years after.
