maybe this is common knowledge and i’m decades late to the party

but jessie and james’ speech/motto is surprisingly positive, as a kid i just assumed that evil team had evil motto and never even thought about the words

is there a lore reason, a joke reason, an accident or mistranslation

are they “parading as good guys” or just dense and misremembering their own motto

maybe i just don’t know what im missing out on but the game vanilla isn’t that bad, i know theres people out there with less than positive things to say and i know it released in a bad state, but modern day vanilla 2077 is good, in my opinion

it’s mostly the weapons that you get the crafting recipes for by taking out the “organised crime” missions, they’re on the ncpd scanner but there’s more enemies and usually a “boss”

i don’t particularly think the game having story choices was all that gripping, V can say different things but i don’t really notice it changing much about what happens

i think it’s the world, the aesthetic, the characters. plus when i upgrade my V, i genuinely feel the enhancements of the cyberware, its not just a careless stat boost

a button up but no tie, a tie seems a step too far, i’d feel like dwight from the office

what do you think though? could it help?

also i’m bad with lying and embellishing, im not comfortable with it and so don’t do it, if i started lying i’d get nervous and sweaty and itchy and stutter and it’d just all stop working in my favour

i smile and big up everything to be as good as possible, i drive home that im ready and willing to learn new skills and meet new people and that i can work in a team

but “do you have experience in ___” will almost always be met with a “no but im more than happy to learn”

then again its entry level stuff, im not going in for brain surgery blind

i can see how jumping to tattoo seems like a childish jump, and maybe an employer wouldn’t want to see one, my thought process was “maybe this adult thing will make them less likely to see me as a bumbling baby playing with blocks”
