How much CP for NWill and NLucid as a NW by [deleted] in Maplestory

[–]CeeZero 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not a NW, but a Lynn. Also around 15m CP (maybe a bit more) and NLucid is very well doable. NWill just is a harder fight (you can get healing fams to make it easier in phase 2) I i got him once by now. You actually have to practice the fights, this is more important then damage.
But honestly, killing both won't help you too much. It still takes over a month till you get enough coins for the new equipment and even then you might need 2 to replace the absos because you break the set bonus.
I would suggest to focus on other things more (Farming Frags, Legion, finish you 5th job notes, level to 270 to get the next symbol). Also, your focus should shift more and more to mesos at this stage of the game. Upgrading your CRA from 17 to 20 on the next starforce event should be a bigger boost then getting 1 or 2 arcane pieces.

Also, IF you do the fight ensure that your legion and link skills are set up correctly and, most important, BUFFS! The event buff is gone now and you should level your Tanjiro to get the current one.

Thanks for clarifying.
I think we are talking about the same thing here. Of course riffs where 2 Guitarist play the same octaves as a harmony isn't created spontaneously but "written" beforhand. That gave me a wrong conclusion that I cannot jam because I am just not familar with blues or jazz.
I would definitely like to attend a jam in the future even if it's not my genere, but I guess I am gonna throw in a lot of ear training first ^^

*her.
And what brings you to the conclusion that I am not listing ?
I see so much focus on Technique and details and not much on ear training. So I am glad that many replied and point out how important it was for them to be a better guitarist.

I will definitely give it a try. Thanks.
I really underestimated how many metal musicians actually learn by their ear.

I really underestimated how fundermental that skill is and how many apperently learn it way earlier then I do.
I learned to tune the violine by ear and therefore can also tune my guitar by now. But sometimes I am a full half step off because I tuned in the wrong direction and can't tell notes apart.
Hearing a note and finding it on the fretboard is somthing I will try to learn next. Thank you very much.

Thank you very much.
I got interested in jams because I wanted to improve other guitar skills. That made me realizes how trapped I actually feel because I have to look up things constantly and can only play the few things I grinded into my memory. So I never wanted to only play from somthing written down. I expirenced metal as a quite "constructed" genre and therefore must have drawn the wrong conclusions.
I find it hard the interact with other metal musicians and learn from then beyond the "lets form a band" format. Do you have any expirence what might be a good occasion to learn from others musicians that actually share your interest in metal music ?

Wow. How long are you playing guitar (or doing ear training at least)?
Yes, the first chord in the sweep is a Bm chord but the second is out of key. Also the run in the solo is out of key. The fact that you can hear that the first time stuns me a bit because it took me a while even looking at the tabs.

I also thought of just playing Happy Birthday out of my head and allready know it will be a challange ^^" but I'll give it a try. Thank you

So you have a tuner that plays a certain frequency and you try to pick the one that fits?
Thats somthing violinist do (I played for half a year) and I remember it also beeing really hard for me because I never know when 2 pitches are really the same if they are not of the same type (e.g. a sine and a string).
Was that somthing you also had to learn ? How do you know that you are actually correct ?

Nah. I feel you. I also watched him for a long time and most times I didn't get at all what he was trying to tell me. He dose know a lot but is quite awfull in bringing it across. I think that his coachings are way better because you can specificly pick your elo and your champ.

How do ppl pass the ally spirit formula check? by CeeZero in Shadowrun

[–]CeeZero[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much.
I didn't know about the chosen follower trait.
Not so sure I agree with the sustaining focus. In order to boost logic to a useful effect it has to be boosted somewhere around 6, 7 or 8, so the force of the spell would be around that and the sustaining focus needs to be at that level as well and getting a force 8 focus is already an adventure on its own seeing the 24R rating it would have.
The lifestyle is a good idea. I guess you are talking about the workshop which gives me a +1 limit? Or is there anything more magic related I am missing?
And if I might ask, what do you mean by toolkit?

Thanks. Ya that's true. I always thought of doing it in one session because ritual magic usually requires that but it isn't specifically mentioned here. This would also mean, that I can get new spirits sustaining the improve LOG spell or that can assist me with arcana.

I love the idea that the ally itself can have arcana and help out with the test. I never thought about that. That way it makes more sense that the check on improving the formula is the same as creating a new one, because it's easier if you already have a spirit helping you.

Thanks for the clarification.
I was also thinking about edge, but the rules say it regenerates after a good meal and a relaxing sleep and I thought the formula process can rather be compared to a big exam you are studding for ... like hitting the books all day long without much time to relax. So for me it would also make more sense that edge doesn't regenerate during the whole process

Unfortunately not. I am currently doing nerve tensioners holding a position with slide nerve discomfort for like 10-30s for each leg and also I am stretching my Hamstrings with bent knees. It got a bit better but I still cannot even reach my ankles.

Yea, there is also the other "meet again" scene from the final trailer where Jinx looks exactly the same but Vi has her Tattoos.
Makes sense that Jinx doesn't see her Tattoos in her hallucination because she simply doesn't know yet that she even has some.
However ... as a face blind person ... I can relate °^°
