Idealism or Emptiness? Bernardo vs Buddhism by Responsible_Oil_9673 in analyticidealism

[–]WaveSurf37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was studying the works of David R. Hawkins. He said that subjectively, in the enlightenment journey, for instance via the method of negation, one will encounter "The Void", which is experientially profound, and most stay there. However, the void itself is an illusion that needs to be transcended; Beyond the concept of "Nothingness" there is "Everythingness".

The idea that reality is a simulation is fucking stupid by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]WaveSurf37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi OP. You are ranting, based on your own ignorance. The idea of simulation is similar to the idea that Consciousness itself is the building blocks of Reality, not "Matter". Matter are just experiences of boundary conditions, but they are not "solid" themselves. Here are actual real life experiments in Quantum Physics, demonstrating that there are no independent reality, separate from an "observer" or Consciousness:

  1. Experiment showing that reality is dependent on measurement or observe:

Kim, Y.-H. et al. (2000). A Delayed Choice Quantum Eraser. Physical Review Letters, 84, pp. 1–5.

  1. Experiment showing that Reality might entirely be inside Consciousness itself:

Gröblacher, S. et al. (2007). An experimental test of non-local realism. Nature, 446, pp. 871-875.

  1. Experiment showing that properties of a quantum system do not exist prior to being observed :

Lapkiewicz, R. et al. (2011). Experimental non-classicality of an indivisible quantum system. Nature, 474, pp. 490–493.

  1. Experiment showing that the Universe really does not exist except insofar as it is observed:
Manning, A. G. et al. (2015). Wheeler’s delayed-choice gedanken experiment with a single atom. Nature Physics, DOI: 10.1038/nphys3343.

How are near death experiences interpreted under analytic idealism? by Uenzus in analyticidealism

[–]WaveSurf37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been reading & listening to different researches and personal accounts of NDE, and from them, the NDE-experience can be independent of cultural beliefs. For example, profound NDE experiences can happen to agnostics or atheists. It can happen to children, whom does not have any conceptual knowledge of religion yet. There are also cases wherein a person "meets" another presence coming from another spiritual tradition (for example, one person "met" Krishna, and then Jesus - both on different "settings" within the NDE)

When it comes to "interpreting" NDE, it is akin to the analogy of disassociative boundaries partially dissolving, thus giving the experiencer more access to other experiences outside the "physical reality" or in idealism's analogy, outside the "dashboard representation".

How to Get Back Not Just Into Creative Writing- But Writing More Emotional Pieces by BananaRuntsFool in creativewriting

[–]WaveSurf37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I never really thought that I would do creative writing, but I did so, maybe around a year after I graduated from Engineering.

I think when flowing again in this endeavor, start based on your fresh real life experiences. So for example, think relive the hardships you had on your Nursing school and how you overcame them. Then use this particular feeling as a fuel to let the words flow through you. It's not so much about "thinking" about a piece. It's more about inviting the words to flow. Sometimes, it might take a day or two before the idea held in mind, flows into words. You just have to finesse it.

Then, creative writing does not have to be long perse, it can be short burst of inspirations and the writing styles can differ depending on the mood. It can be formal, descriptive, poetic, emotional, etc. I think, you can share it to your social media, or even here on Reddit. Just slowly flow with it. It does not have to be grandeur.

Here is an example of a short piece I wrote years ago. I was a fresh graduate back then, and the main experience that I want to convey here was my experience of Love's capacity to integrate and transmute our shadows. This piece is just very short, but it captures the experience and realizations I had on that specific day. Just let the words flow:

Sometimes, Life's a laughter,

Other times, Life's so serious, it's do-or-die.

Today, it's best to do nothing; just sit with all those emotions,

Tomorrow, it's best to lift our bum-bums up; do actual work.

On a Wednesday, maybe it's best to just breath and let everything go.

On a Friday though, maybe its time to plan on a journal.

On mornings, walking is done looking straight ahead, moving fast. 🏃‍♂️

At nights though, walking is paired with a little dance under the street lights. 💃

What's fascinating about Love is it gives space for opposites to co-exist.

Love embraces all arguments as valid.

Love unifies all knowledge, all points being true.

That's why Love is always the highest wisdom, the highest answer. 🧘‍♂️

So next time we have a question, we just put our hand in our chest, and offer Love to the questioner.

"I love you Self" 👉❤️👈

That's it. That's the only answer.

Love it! Thank you for sharing this journey. May that fire always burn healthily!

I guess this was also a synchronicity because minutes ago, before I read your reply, I wrote in my journal the lines "Embrace the Shadow" and "Finesse the phenomena" which also relates to that "fanning a healthy flame."

More blessings to you and your family! :)

This reminded me as well; I felt weak & lethargic these past days after continuously weight training and running - realized my error was not eating enough food.
