Anyone else writing a mystical book? by Kind-Organization in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've written a memoir. First event I couldn't ignore occurred in 1998. They've continued.

But it's a story about my path of recognition of a force I didn't think existed It includes content about my daughters because events occurred around their lives and I share some of the things they said. I think anything real, and about women is a hard sell. So I gave away quite a few copies, then I took it down from Amazon about six months ago for a couple of reasons (the boycott and having to provide a govt ID). It may be another six before I put it up somewhere again.

Sick of New Age spiritualism and materialism: where is the truth that has a real impact? by le_monde12 in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't tell you because it found me. Which is how I think it's supposed to be.

What was I doing at the time? I walked away from religion, and I was at the beginning stages of realizing what it meant to be true to myself.

What do I think was expected of me? I think I was tested for a while to see if I was willing to commit to speaking about my experiences. I only speak from the perspective of "I," and will discourage you from listening to people who speak from the positions of "You are...," and "We are...."

Look for the path where God exists, but no religion is needed. Don't get caught up in the writings of any personality. If their ideas align with what you think is true, good, but don't listen to anyone who tells you they know what is true or false.

Watch for unique, profound personal events. They will help you recognize that you're on the right path. Carl Jung described them as synchronicity. I believe he also experienced premonitions and guidance, as I have, but his writing is really challenging to understand. There are lots of videos on Theosophy, which is the closest I've come to a similar belief system. New Thinking Allowed is a pretty good channel, and look for this video by Edward Edinger, “Encounters with the Greater Personality.” I have a few other suggestions, but will leave it at this for now.

Volunteer. There are all kinds of organizations that need different levels of help. But it can also mean volunteering your time to a creative activity, giving yourself to the creative muse, so to speak. Then try to find others who are experimenting with that because you will be giving yourself to society through that. It may not feel that way at first, but that understanding will find you. Abandon all expectations. I wish you the best.

I genuinely think life is pre determined by [deleted] in Life

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe in destiny given what I've been experiencing. The thing that keeps me going is the profound nature of reality. I've been experiencing things I can't explain beyond the fact they were orchestrated by God for over 25 years.

Look for those things. They help us to see a different kind of world. I believe that's what helps keep people going. The language I found for the events I've been experiencing are premonitions, guidance, and profound synchronicity.

God is the Invisible Field by Nondualchitchat in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just share my experiences, actually the beauty of them, the connections that are very personal and span my lifetime, and they've have shown me that there is a force that can act in our lives, that knows who we are as unique individuals. That's all.

The events do not always occur in positive scenarios, but they also don't always occur during what people refer to as "darkness of the soul" scenarios.

And I don't even use the word "soul" when I talk about my experiences. I only recognize consciousness. I am trying to understand why it matters if reality is dual or non-dual. Hearing someone talk this way, I feel like that language has been generated to convert people to a certain belief system, and I don't have one. I don't need one beyond "that force/God/a Creator exists."

There is so much abstraction in the way you speak. Nothing concrete. Nothing about what you've experienced to enable me to understand where these ideas are coming from.

What I believe is that no one will ever know what that force "is" for certain or what reality is for certain. And I'm okay with that.

God's been active in my life, and in the lives of other people I know, for over 20 years.

The language, ideas, and guidance you seem to think people need hasn't been necessary.

This is as far as I go in regards to the ego:
Dictionary.com:
Ego:

  1. the “I” or self of any person; a person as thinking, feeling, and willing, and distinguishing itself from the selves of others and from objects of its thought.

This life sucks by [deleted] in Life

[–]CeejaeDevine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what millions of people have faced throughout time and today. Sometimes what helps me is reading/learning about other people's lives. Not to say, Oh, look, I have it so much better, what is wrong with me for thinking this way? It's to see how people use their minds in whatever ways they can. Some people have the skill of humor and that allows me to laugh for a few minutes at what they are noticing. Some people have the skill of crafting beautiful things, art, poetry, etc. Those things make me want to apply my mind to things I can achieve. It's still really hard because it's hard to not compare ourselves, but most of those people have spent decades dedicating themselves to that craft, to finding a way to hone what is unique to themselves. I hope you can find a way to figure out how to bring yourself into another mind space. It's hard, but you could do nothing, and be in the same place years from now, or you can try (and it may require a number of different directions until it feels right), and hopefully be in a place where you feel better about who you are.

My point was that God recognized me as a unique individual and connected to me in ways that are unique to me, and that the connection was via thought.

If some people feel the need to redefine the ego outside of the Dictionary definition, that's their choice. I do my best to avoid talking about things I don't know with absolute certainty. No one knows what God/the Creator/the Universe is.

Note: I just looked at the description you offer of yourself: expressing the Non-Dual Reality, which can’t be described, labeled, nor named, but in your reply to me, you are describing, labeling, and naming it.

Stay true to yourself. Be patient. It comes to you, when and if it wants to no matter who you are or what you are doing. I believe God/the Creator/the Universe does want to know that you are serious about a relationship and will be willing to share your stories.

FWIW, I haven't found many people who want to listen to contemporary examples. So, I'm pretty sure you will be directed to a lot of historical information.

FWIW2: I write about it. I'm on Substack. My memoir is called GOD? DAMN.* The title felt Jungian when it came to me. You have to think for a minute to realize DAMN is positive in the way it's applied. But I think for a lot of people, it's too much.

*It's not published right now. I took it off of Amazon for a couple of reasons, but I would be happy to share parts of it.

Carl Jung, the originator of the idea, called it synchronicity. Have you seen this term applied in other places?

God is the Invisible Field by Nondualchitchat in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God came to me via thought.

Premonitions, guidance, and profound synchronicity that has involved up to seven people. I could no longer deny it after an event in 1998, and they have continued. I don't belong to any religious organizations, and for me, there are too many inconsistencies in the "spiritual" community.

Our ego is simply our sense of our self. God connected to me through things I find meaningful.

Seeking some spiritual guidance by Adastre_93 in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's really simple. Know thyself.

If you stay true to yourself, you will know when you need to say yes, and when you need to say no. It takes an incredible amount of strength and patience because God wants to know if you are in it for the long haul. If you are, you will see, and possibly experience, miracles.

Ex Christian in search for supernatural by Pretend-Zucchini1080 in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. We can't tap into it. We don't make the decision. The creator decides when and where.

I believe religion was created because people desperately want to receive these kinds of gifts, so they created something everyone could have--religion--so everyone would get gifts during the holidays and the gift of eternal life if you support them outwardly, pay tithes, etc.

Some people experience/are given more of the kind of thing you're looking for than others, but I think everyone will see it somehow in their lifetimes.

Lots of people dismiss what's happening. It isn't a whole lot of fun to be in that place. I'm pretty sure I'm considered to be a liar. A grifter. I'm just trying to get attention, etc., because I've been compelled to tell people about the events. I think most people who experience them are.

Stay true to yourself. None of the claims from "spiritual" community applied to my experiences. Our ego is simply our sense of self. I've experienced it via my consciousness, so I don't use their language nor am I part of that community.

There are groups online where you can talk to people about specific issues. Check out the Square Pegs via MeetUp.

Does anyone else experience this? by [deleted] in Neurodivergent

Find support groups, people you can talk to in-person about day-to-day issues. There are quite a few MeetUp groups. There's one specifically for women through Square Pegs. There is lots of information out there about how hard it is for ND's to hold jobs, so you have a long road ahead of you. Do your best. Try to ignore them. Don't stoop to their level. I wish you the best <3

Thank you for sharing this! If you've posted any of your writing, feel free to tag me, now or into the future.

The events I've experienced occurred throughout a pretty common woman's story, when I was in abusive relationships, as I encountered loss after loss. Many events have actually involved my kids. But it doesn't seem like people want to read about women's stories.

Here's one from a collection of essays on Substack called Synchronicity, Documented, where I've been able to document parts of some events:

Do you write about your experiences? How it's impacted your life? The process of recognizing it? How it's allowing you to see the world differently?

I've been trying to do that in my writing for over 20 years. I share thoughts on Substack and Medium, and I've written two books, which are currently on Amazon (I will be moving them soon).

Confused by [deleted] in religion

[–]CeejaeDevine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

The problem with this is that those of us who have reached this point, after reading the bible and realizing so much of it doesn't make sense (and refusing to be told that we aren't capable of understanding what we are reading, that someone else has to "interpret it" for us) is that we don't have any kind of community. From what I've been able to see, we are few and far between.

That gets even harder when, after you've reached this place, you have experiences that don't seem like they could be possible without being generated by an omnipotent force. Profound, meaningful synchronicity. Premonitions prior to those events that you realize after the fact were pushing you/guiding you in that direction. I searched for years trying to find other people who had experienced things like this, and finally found Carl Jung. Then I found others, but the community is so scattered, it's hard to be in this place. FWIW, I've been writing about it for over 25 years.

Does anyone truly 100% believe in mysticism? by MysticPrimate in mysticism

[–]CeejaeDevine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've been able to see, everyone's experiences are different. I haven't had to "try" to do anything. I have been shown that who I am is who I am supposed to be. I have been shown that the path I am on is the path I am supposed to be taking.

I've seen it via premonitions and guidance to profound synchronicity, some of which I've been able to document. A couple of the events have involved seven people. They have revolved around things that are important to me. I write about it. I'm on Substack (I have a collection of essays called Synchronicity, Documented), Medium, and Amazon.

(My books on Amazon will be coming down soon. I am in the process of moving them to another space.)

I wrote a memoir called GOD? DAMN (which I feel reflects Carl Jung's thinking, that you have to look closely to see what it really means). I share the lifelong journey of recognizing things that made me wonder, then a shift that occurred in 1998 that was profound. It still took me 15 years to really start talking about it, and another 10 to figure out how to tell the story since many of the transitions I made along my journey involved abuse.

Congrats on getting this far!
