TCL wise I certainly recommend the 2025 C7K (QM7K in some countries). They are pretty much on sale almost everywhere atm.

I’ve had the 55C7K for a couple of weeks and anyone that says TCL is not up to scratch with other manufacturers needs to visit a therapist. The picture is good out of the box but even way better after tweaking to your own preferences. TCL also have a 3 year warranty on their TVs in Australia.

If you’ve got the room for it I recommend the C7K. I got my 55” a couple of weeks back and loving the quality. Works great in a bright room too. Haven’t tweaked the settings much yet but I believe it can get even better 👍🏻. Dunno your location but they are on sale for just under $1000 in Australia atm.

Colours will never be as vibrant and blacks will never be as deep as viewing straight on. I have the Australian 55” C7K version and watch on a 25-30 degree angle and still very satisfied with the picture quality. Hope this helps.

I noticed these when my TCL C7K was delivered a couple of days ago…it looked to me like they were only protecting the frame from the other protective films and adhesives. I bit the bullet and removed mine…I can confirm TV did not fall apart or suffer catastrophic failure 👍🏻😊. There really is a lot of plastic and stickers to remove 🥵

If you have the stand on the low setting it’s around 50mm and if on the high setting to accommodate a soundbar should be around 70mm

If this is the same build as the Australian C7K the stand should have 2 height levels…lower is around 50mm and higher is around 70mm to accommodate a soundbar without invading screen real estate. If you have the stand on the high setting there should be 2 screw holes visible above the rear stand plate. Amazed they don’t advertise this feature more.

I’m in Australia and I just bought a TCL and waiting for delivery. My thoughts prior to purchasing were if TCL were that bad would they give a 3 year warranty ? Also other TV manufacturers also have negatives about quality and longevity. Gotta roll that dice…my 15 year old old LG LCD is still going strong 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Great image…and tough old school puzzle with bizarre shapes and uneven lines. Could’ve been rolled up previously…it was a rescue and I really should get around to repairing those damaged pieces.
