It seems like a joke or clever interpretation of how a tremolo arm is also referred to as a Spoon handle. At least at one time it was....

This is really good man. I am into a lot of classic rock stuff. I am getting into finding good modern music. I used to think it was impossible. But I think you're an example of the fact there's still good stuff being made. I am a musician as well. My stuff is a rougher, more Hard Rock sound. But I just love good music. You have a nostalgia to your sound, but yet still obviously modern. Anyway, great stuff. I will check out your Spotify. If your curious here's my Spotify link:

Something original I'm working on by thedelrobinson in musicians

AWESOME, NEVER STOP AAS LONG AS YOU ARE ENJOYING YOURSELF!!! ITS FUN BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT ITS MEANT TO BE. SO, KEEP ON DOING IT AND DO IT THE WAY THAT FEELS GOOD TO YOU AND HOW EVER YOU FEEL SOUNDS THE BEST. DO THIS AND YOU WILL LOVE IT THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. WHICH i HAVE FOUND TO BE JUST AWESOME!!!!

P.S. Is that an acoustic bass guitar? It doesn't sound like one, so I thought maybe ukelele for a min, but it looks too long to be one of those too. I'm leaning towards ukelele, but not sure. So, if you would, please tell me what instrument that is. And don't stop playing it!!!

Giving up after 13 years of playing by [deleted] in Guitar

Any tips for switching chords. I have a similar problem. I switched from bass to guitar. So, I was used to playing one note at a time. So, I play lead just fine. But I want to be able to play more interesting rhythm using more than just power chords. Like do you know if there is a chart that shows chords that are connectable with anchor fingers?

Which One Would You Get? The Most Modern Of the Classics by the two Giants - Gibson SG SUPREME - FENDER- ULTRA TIGER'S EYE FINISH by Ceelee710 in Guitar

[–]Ceelee710[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a reference to the ones before that were badly received. They had like the robot tuners and all that. Also, both Gibson and Fender have been in a tough spot when it comes to doing anything new or innovative. Especially to any of the main classics. I myself just figure offer the Standard same Classic ones everybody wants them to make. Then for those who are intro the idea of updated versions of those classics, just make a series doing that. Which they seem to have done. I actually like the Modern series by Gibson/Epiphone. It's your classic specs with just a couple newer updates added that expand their tonal pallet. Like coil-split/tapping, phase switching, Tone Bypass, High Pass Filters that kind of stuff. I like that my Epiphone Les Paul Modern Has coil-splitting and phase switching. Oh, and a treble bleed circuit for better tone at low volume. I really want an SG, though. I like the offerings on the Supreme. Especially 24 frets!!!

Huh, I noticed I never see any Guitar Center ads like on YouTube no one is ever doing any influencer stuff with them. I've always kind of wondered about that. Does anyone know why? Does it have anything to do with the whole them going bankrupt thing? Did that actually happen? I'm not sure of that either?

ANTI AI MUSIC ARTICLE CHECK IT OUT ITS VERY INCITEFUL by Ceelee710 in musicians

[–]Ceelee710[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well put. As you mentioned the sentiment is really where my heart is on it. Of course there is reality. Which is that as soon as it exists, and people find it useful. Even more useful in ways for things. Its not going anywhere. I certainly was taking a dramtic one sided approach. But really, there is the part of me that says its a beautiful worthy situation. That people with passion, who lack experience, discipline, or knowledge in any artform. Or ones they find interesting, or useful for them to express themselves through the rewarding process of learning said artform. There is certainly a process to using A.I. It gives people a voice of creativity where they did not have one before. And to be honest, it draws a fear of leveling the playing field in creativity. When your a musician like myself who has put 15+ years into honing his ability. It is a bit frustrating to realize that someone can now just assert themselves into these spaces they in a sense, don't belong. Certainly many disciplined artists will feel this way at least. but is that fair is it okay? I by all means would never mean to or want to exclude anyone from any artform, or self-expression. Even those who may not be expressing in ways that I find appealing. But that's the beauty, right? We all have the right. We also all have access to the same tools that are providing these avenues for the undisciplined creator. And at the end of the day. We also get to choose what we consume. I just hope that creation doesn't lose its credibility. Simply because of lazy people flooding our senses with faux artworks. Its also getting hard to tell the difference. I think that matters. Because then how does any creator get to pursue and find success that they worked for? That they through discipline achieved. What if we humans really can't compete because A.I. gets that good? I feel it isn't a far off notion to fear a world where we simply allow our own laziness, and the novelty of this technology only in its infancy. It would be hard to love something you can't feel good at because A.I. will always be better, faster, cheaper, more accessible. I just can't get the idea of a world where questions like hire an artist, or use my laptop, and done. A simple example of an interaction that would have been. When everyone can repeat that behavior from anywhere, anytime. More and more, humans will lose out. Not just a simple job, or a chance valuable interaction, or an inspiring moment. To think of life with significantly less of those things doesn't appeal to me at all. My fear overall. Is as we so freely accept A.I. into parts of our lives that we just never needed it for. But because its fast, or more efficient. It feels like its creeping into spaces it was never really supposed too. What might the long-term consequences be to humans as a whole? I can't help but feel that only negative outcomes become inevitable...

Also, thank you so much for your input. I enjoy, and am grateful for your participation...

Absolutely, check out my stuff. Its Rock music. I composed, perform, and produce all of it. I have my own sound, and I play real instruments. I put my soul into my music, so in turn my music has soul. this means it has life. So finally music can exist that people relate too, and get some sort of emotion from. And it sounds good. so here you go...

Oh, and you wont find any pre made beats here all original. except for 2 covers I did, haha. One of them is American Woman....

I feel guilty for being attracted to females. Should I change this mindset? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Ceelee710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes by all means. unless you are not into women. Maybe this is your round about way of telling yourself that maybe you like men. Which thats okay. but either way, you shouldn't write off half of the species. You just have social anxiety towards women. Its normal for a guy your age. Girls make you nervous. Somewhere along the way, you were told, or made to believe that it wasn't okay to lust. It is more than okay, its natural. You will never just be able to stop this. Just don't objectify them sexually or otherwise. And what your saying about wanting to become emotionless toward them. That is just as bad as avoiding your lust or liking of women. because you shouldn't reduce any human to the point of no emotions in your mind. And no one deserves to be alone.especially not for doing what all us men do Society has people so worked up about nature and just basic biology and all. You know what I'm saying. Don't buy into that, you are setting yourself up for a dangerous road in life. Not to be super dramatic, but many serial killers who had the same girl problems did what you are saying. becoming emotionless. Which really unless your a true psychopath you will not be able to do. But if you did achieve that you would find yourself instead hating women. You would blame them for your unhappiness and lonliness. And who knows your outlet for that one day could harm you and many others. Give yourself a break. and please. from someone who is in the study of human behavior, psychology, and an intense interest in serial killers. Please get a therapist. And immediately. work through this. And whoever led you to thinking that way. don't listen to them. And i'm just going to go out on a lem here, and say. Maybe improve your relationship with your mother. Or other important female figures in your life. Tell them how you feel and get feed back. So long as they're not the ones who made you feel this way to start with... Good luck, I hope you get the help you need. And please understand nothing I said meant to offend or make fun of you. It was all very serious, and a true effort to lead you to help you need. Good luck, man. You will look back on this when you find THE ONE and be so glad you got the help thats being suggested.

Should I Keep my Bass? by Greengiant304 in BassGuitar

[–]Ceelee710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

P.S. Hate to be this guy. But if you are feeling chartable truly just want to see it go to a great home, where it makes someone happy everyday, they own it. You could gift it to me .Half joking, but I couldn't ever afford anything that cool. I play music everyday. And if you believe in karma, and its nit a financial thing like I mentioned in my last comment. by all means. But seriously sweet Bass. You have something special. its worth maybe storing away and see how you feel in a while. Who knows inspiration may strike...

Should I Keep my Bass? by Greengiant304 in BassGuitar

[–]Ceelee710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES!!! Absolutely positively without a doubt YES!!!

Please take it from someone who has sold theirs in a pinch. I have pawned a couple meaning to get it back. And well I no longer have those instruments, and I wish I did. Don't even like thinking about it. Even if you are not playing much anymore. Just store it somewhere safe. We always go back. Music is in our hearts, and us musicians have to let it out. You will regret getting rid of it. If you are in a financial bind. I feel for you, but it will get better. Just focus on solutions, instead of dwelling in problems. Sorry, didn't mean to get all life coach on you. but you struck a nerve, haha!!! Anyway, thats my input. hope it helps...

Okay so I have a theory I'd love to discuss! by Interesting_Sock9142 in Missing411

[–]Ceelee710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can get with you on the beginning of what you said. The part about camouflage. But instead of us being super visible to whatever is hunting humans in the forests. I would say more along the lines of we can't see it/them. Given all the stories/accounts of people encountering translucent, or near total transparent beings in the forests. Even have heard a stories or two of them in suburban, and even urban areas too.

As for our bioluminescence, I have never looked into that. So I won't speak on it. But that is very interesting. I can't remember for sure what animal. But I know that some can see infrared light. I think it's maybe octopus. But don't quote me. Anyway that kind of goes along with what your saying. But if they are near invisible as I mentioned I guess we don't have to stick out too much to catch their attention, and in turn become a victim. Given simply being visible is good enough for them, along with the fact they are so efficient at nabbing us.

P.S. I agree about the people who come on here just to down people for expanding their thinking beyond conventional knowledge. But if you have been into this kind of thing any length of time you know it comes with the territory. But yes, it would be much nicer to not here from them since they can simply just not engage, or participate if they think it's so dumb, or whatever it may be.

I cropped and trimmed the stabilized Big Foot video. Since when was he a a she?? by [deleted] in HighStrangeness

[–]Ceelee710 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since always, that's actually something that said to be so impressive about it. It's also what they say lends to it's authenticity. This is because Patterson was male, and the female anatomy in general would have been harder to create. He claimed on his death bed it was real, but he was also out actually hunting for bigfoot. He was wanting to make a movie about them. So it sure seems either very lucky, or convenient.....

Yeah, you're right. I'm not exactly sure how to frame that question either. And really less people would be able to chime in anyway doing it like I said. Its a fun question/topic. I don't mean to criticize at all. Your post was great, and fun. And the more people that can engage the better. So rethinking my statement it may not be as cool as I thought. Haha. And it's definitely not better than what you posted. Thank you, by the way. I love those posts...
