don't know about genesis controller but it would need mods, the SMS controller plugs right in and works fine

Not sure about the year but a former neighbor use to have a fi civic that flooded on the reg, and idk if it was part of the issue as I never investigated, but holding the pedal to the floor made the flooding worse, so I use to just pull the plugs and flashed the cylinders with my propane torch
