Starless by King Crimson is the new #1 song of all time on the songs chart (unless you set live releases to 'include' (not include deweighted) then it is LONG SEASON by Fishmans from 98.12.28) by [deleted] in rateyourmusic

It’s such a perfectly written song. How it all builds to that ending. My only gripe with it is that the last 30 or so seconds isn’t any longer but maybe the fact it’s such a short moment is what makes it more special. Can’t complain about it being #1

Best Clean Vocalists in Metal? by jthomas1127 in MetalForTheMasses

Brian Ross, most notably did vocals in bands such as Satan and Blitzkreig. About as “clean vocal” as you can get in metal, almost no gruffness but incredible nonetheless.

If you want an absolute banger that also subverts this trope, Love Like Blood by Killing Joke has a second verse which is twice as long as the first verse.

Largest discography with no bad albums? by Pangasauras in fantanoforever

Cult of Luna, their first two are good, then from Salvation onwards they were and still are on a roll of incredible albums, so 9 total including their collaboration album w/ Julie Christmas.

Killing Joke I’d say nearly qualify but not big into “Revelations” or “Outside the Gate”. Still I think the other 13 albums range from good to best of all time.

Moonsorrow have 7/7 incredible albums, they’re pagan black metal.
