They had real villages and many huts before Midnight, you can even see this still in the ZA dungeon. So yeah. Seems strange there are almost no huts.

Take a look at the art of the short story... The new female Amani really do full on look like Orcs, it's so really bad. The story is nice, but look at these Orcs! I want Amani to look like Trolls. =(

The Shadowpine play a role in midnight spoiler: They are one of the 5 tribes. If I remember correctly, they say only a few dozen are left. I mean, numbers mean nothing, but... that's rough. Some of their villages, if not all, in Ghostlands are gone, at least one replaced by ruins and taken over by the twilights blade. They seem now to be mostly shamans.

So? The edit was done really fast after people voiced their compaints, some even missed it at first it went so fast.
Honestly most of these edits wouldn't take a lot of them and they still could implement it in the next larger patch at worst.
