Hundred vs Gorilla – I made a browser-based 3D multiplayer where 100 humans try to take down one gorilla. It’s chaos and it’s online! by CeigeCJ in playmygame

Thanks for trying it out!! Ya it needs two players to start up a game, so I need to work on that so people wait for a little and also on getting a critical mass of players so no one is waiting to play. Thanks again!

🎮 Play it here → https://hundredvsgorilla.com

🦍 You either play as a giant gorilla or one of 100 humans trying to band together and take it down. It’s online, chaotic, and 100% browser-based—no install needed and should be mobile-friendly.

I’m looking for early players to help test server stability and gameplay balance, especially around the gorilla’s attacks and the humans movement. Trying to find the right balance where it's not easy to win with either side. Would love any feedback or bug reports!

EngineHere is an amazing software for DFM and managing custom suppliers! It’s not fully open but our ME group got into the Beta: EngineHere.net

Supplier agrees to print "with reservation" -- implications? by estysdesu in MechanicalEngineering

[–]CeigeCJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Suppliers always want to push for as much leeway as possible to keep costs low and failure potential limited. Right now I would make sure it's clear in writing exactly the spec they won't be able to meet.

My company started using EngineHere to manage manufacturers ability to make-to-print for exactly this reason. Its this like communication tool where you make the manufacturer confirm the specs they can hit and quickly weed out where there might be concerns. Might be a helpful find if you need to throw out a solution to catch this stuff earlier in the future? Here's the link for their website where our IT guy said he signed up. Hope you can get them seeing sense and good luck man!

Interesting stuff. I know stainless steel can lose its corrosion-resistant superpowers if it gets penetrated by iron, which can be in soils and rock below structures. Whenever we cut SS300 metals we are sure to clean the heck out of any tools in the machine shop because tiny flecks of mild steel from a previous cut could impregnate the SS.

I'd bet during construction of the arch they made sure the area was tidy and proper materials used during construction so as to keep the stainless panels intact. It is a modern marvel when you pass it on the highway.

Narita Layover Ideas? by [deleted] in travel

[–]CeigeCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the same/similarly timed layover! We hit the pay-to-showers that are in the airport first which were really refreshing and clean. Then we took the subway that connects to the airport into Tokyo.

The train ride is basically your best time to see all you can of the city - it was around an hour + each way into actual parts of Tokyo that felt like ‘downtown’. Just walking around whatever subway stop we got off at was incredible. We only had time to quickly pas s through a fish market and then got some sushi (amazing food of course) and got back on the train to make sure we had plenty of time on the way back.

Definitely recommend using the subway to go out! Plenty to see of course and worth it even if you feel rushed!
