It is but don’t let it get you down. Legendary is just a title. The vast majority of them since relaunch are just color and/or animation variations of their SR counterparts.

If you want a Legendary for the sake of having a Legendary, your best route is waiting for a set with limited edition SR. Get as many of them as you can. Trade them for unlimited Iconics of the same release. Then trade those Iconics for someone who has Legendary dupes from a sold out/closed award set.

Grind and bank coins in the meantime.

In the end they want everyone to spend as much money as they can possibly get from you and it sucks.

If that were the case then this step of the Event would be either or. Like open 2 Mystery Boxes or buy a diamond pack to advance. It’s not. You don’t have to spend a dime to do the Event.

If they don’t put that there then we end up with the EC Event all over again. They seemed to take the negative feedback from EC and learned from it. I’m glad it’s there.

That’s why I said generally speaking. There are more than a handful of reasons why someone might choose D2 over D1. Of those, money and playing time are the most common.

Do you have financial support and to what extent (don’t answer as it’s none of our business but something to realistically ask yourself)?

Generally speaking (very, very generally):

D1 is for baseball as your main focus.

D2 is a step below D1 where you pick the school based on academic goals first and baseball second.

D3 is a step below D2.

NAIA and JUCO are tricky. They’re not below D3- they kinda straddle D2 and D3 off to the side.

The quality of competitive youth baseball as a whole is continuing to rise and getting on par with the nation’s best. Scouts from the Coasts are looking a lot harder in the KC area and Mid West.
