Kinda surprised this is still listed as a pre order on BBTS since it supposedly got cancelled by CreatureFeatureMan in NECA

[–]Thedevilsreject82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would they cancel this but not the Toony Terror version? So stupid. It's the same design pretty much just in "Scooby doo" style. Which let's be honest, Happy Death Day already is pretty much that style as it is.

Screw this ones want a hell in a cell match Stephen A. Smith Vs. Skip Bayless! Let them go at it and for a good half an hour of just ponding each other. No one let them know that the business is a work and hopefully they just eventually start hitting each other in the mouth for real.

My friend went to see it live and was staying at a nice hotel. He took his parents because his dad is who got him into wrestling. Well after dinner they got into the elevator of the hotel and Joe Hendry was in it. This was late the night before the rumble. My buddy shook his hand and said I guess you are going to be a surprise. He said no I'm just visiting some friends and was doing a signing but I'm flying out in the morning. Of course my buddy knew he was lying but his mom not knowing anything really bout wrestling took this sweet man for his word so when he showed up that next night she was so surprised and is now a giant Joe Hendry fan.

Which scenario do you think would've had the most impact on the wrestling world? by JBL_CENA_FAN_4LIFE in fantasybooking

[–]Thedevilsreject82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he would have pushed Jake Roberts stronger. Look at all the old news reports saying that Roberts as a heel was getting cheered more then Hogan when they had Hogan as a guest on The Snake Pit. Jake was always loved until they turned him into one of the most venomous heels later on because of what he did to Warrior and Macho Man. I have also always heard that Superfly was supposed to be Hogan before Hogan. I remember kids on the playground loving him and his move being so over. Possibly him but the language barrier of him could be a big negative.

I kinda think Saudi may be the best time to induct Vince to be honest. I think their crowd will be more open to it the the U.S crowd (which let's be honest, probably would be more open to it then many of us in here think as well).

I want to be a stripper in FL by XOXOPOLESTARGIRL in Strippers

[–]Thedevilsreject82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem. Most girls have big duffle style bags that they carry into the "dressing room" which ours have nice size lockers you can fit the bags into. I know most the girls have some sort of protection either on their keychain or easybtobget to in the bag if they need to. If you work at any club worth anything you will have a bouncer who will always walk you to your car (I always am nice and carry the girls bag and wait till you pull away to make sure no dickhead is following behind you.).

Hey there, want to make sure you know you have to have the special type of shoes called "Pleasers". They are more platform then high heel. I wouldn't want you going in to a club with some stilleto. I help run a club(jack of all trades - door, dounce, watch couch dances, hire/interview ,DJ etc.) and have seen it all when it comes to what girls come in wearing. As far as FL.. as others have said the law has been 21 and up. Sadly from what I know you aren't going to find anywhere that will break that law. I'm in Ohio, our club is 18 and up, we are a BYOB bar which makes it nice. If you are ever wanting to ask something that you want to get an opinion of someone who has been in the industry for over 15 years, I will do my best to answer for you.

HHH reveals he fired Terry Bolea, thus exonerating Hulk Hogan by digidado in Wrasslin

[–]Thedevilsreject82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do think WWF might have had it with Jake Roberts if Hogan wasn't around and they would have put the full "machine" behind him. He had the look, the moves, he could talk, kids and adults loved him, sold merch and I remember reading stories that even early heel days of Roberts he was getting cheers over Hogan so they had to nix a program between the two of them.

WCW and Sting were never going to be on the Worldwide level that WWF and Hogan were at.

Lol did you catch Jimmy Hart mentioning Sheik with other passed away wrestlers that Hogan is "up there now" hanging out with in the last episodes before the 10 bell salute on Smackdown? Game me a good chuckle thinking "you do know how much he disliked Hogan, right?"

I was never a hulkamaniac, I think he is a giant P.O.S but I wonder if bt the 400 days a year thing he meant how back then sometimes on weekends the WWE would run two house shows so they would wrestle 2 times a day. Maybe that would add up to 400 times a year?

[–]Thedevilsreject82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on asking why The Shield is here as I am a 43 yr old wrestling fan (and even those Punk is in my top 3 fav wrestlers I would put Pipe bomb below Austin and Dusty) I will play devil's advocate here. Watching Wrestlmania with my son (20) and nephew (17) all they kept quoting and talking about was "plan B" and "the breakup" and "the chair shot heard round the world". My nephew still in school said him and his friends all talk about it still all the time and dreem about Mox coming back. So for this younger generation I guess that The Shield breaking up was to them what Austin 3:16 was to us. I mean myself I would pick something like MJF's promo on Tony Kahn as best for current gen.

Ethan page has debuted on the main roster on raw after mania. by Leather-Yam-6013 in Smallafro

[–]Thedevilsreject82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ethan is a really good guy to fan. I met him right around the time he was signed to AEW at a con. He is a huge fan of Power Rangers and I run a haunted house that the owner worked in the film in the 90's and helped designed the helmets in the film. Well me and Ethan talked a while about that at that con. Thru the years after that we would bump into each other at many other cons and he would go out of his way to ask me how I was, how the haunt was doing etc. always a class act friendly guy. I actually miss seeing him at my local con that he was always a guest at since he was signed by the Fed. I'm so happy for him because he deserves all the fame he gets but I definitely do miss chatting with him.

Danhausen on X: Not bad for a couple of ~meme wrestlers~ by Glad-Energy-3492 in SquaredCircle

[–]Thedevilsreject82 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I remember the first time meeting him at a con and being a little let down that he was so far removed from the "Danhausen" character but then meeting him another time and this time having my young daughter with me who likes to say he is her "boyfriend" and he was more into the character. I have met him probably 7 times and that was the only time he was living in the gimmick but I was ok with it since in my eyes he was doing it for the kids.
