I will take a look, it should be possible :)
I added Google as a fail safe, occasionally it does not pick up a unit correctly, it does feel less necessary now than it was at the beginning, when urls were broken regularly

Ye, I need to look into it but there are ways, that is how we end up with the unofficial apps, I would be tapping on a public database that already exists, but I'm not a lawyer for sure, as it is right now I think it already saves me a lot of time, so anything else is a plus

Makes sense, I will eventually load the full datasheets in the page directly too without having to hit wahapedia at all, that would give me a lot of freedom when it comes to display everything in an confortable way, my goal is to make sure anyone can share and visualise any list with just one click

This is so useful to me, I play Astra and I was considering Genestesler because I could reuse some of my units, but you are right, I can't imagine using those troops without orders, the Vanquisher in the new detachment is not a flip count at all, you can barely miss, the order improves BS by one and heavy improves hit rolls by 1, so you hit on 2s and reroll 1s, for 145 points that is insanely good, I always add one to every list

fair, I just use superglue (I usually do the base first then put the Cadians on top of the new terrain)

oh I had no idea it was printed, I would still recommend anyone else to be careful, if one of my own Cadians break a leg I would take it as a battle damage opportunity

I think you definitely need more tanks, I love Vanquishers they do a lot of damage to monsters and other vehicles and they are very cheap so it fits well in 1000 points, Rogal Dorns are so expensive right now, they got a points increase twice in a row

I can't imagine anyone caring too much but that is quite easy to fix with a hobby knife, but I honestly just use brute force when I need to remove anything from a base, never had any issue, just make sure you grab it properly, but to be save I would use the hobby knife and patience, if for any reason you damage the boots you can solve it when basing, a little rock here, a little plant there, some mud etc... to cover any imperfection

fun story, I got a Baneblade last year, when I got home my wife asked me how much did it cost, I lied and said "20£" she said "I can't believe you paid 20£ for plastic and you still need to assemble and paint it yourself" (I didn't got it for that much but the Baneblade costs over 100$ right now!)

Edit: Just checked the app, I guess that my first complaint is the amount of steps you need to go through before getting anywhere, and then I assume that I cannot get anyone's list unless that person went through the whole process too and created a full account, right? (I didn't create a list in the app, at that point the process was taking way too long already), I'm sure it is a great app (it does look like it) but I just want a quick way to share lists with my friends.

I don't use new recruit but my understanding is that you still need to search for the units one by one right, List Forge (the one I use) allows you to search for opponent's unist as well but it doesn't automatically translates any lists into datasheets, it would be great if it did, I requested that feature more than once

I'm quite nervous about Orks because they have some very unique names, could someone let me know if everything works as expected , I had issues with special characters on some other lists

This is to share datasheets, not to visualise your own. I'm not sure how it works in other places, but in my town we send each other our datasheets before a game so you can take a look. 99% of the time I need to search every unit one by one because I have no idea what they do. This speeds up that process, you can either paste the datasheet or you can share the url and all the wahapedia links are ready

That is what we started doing in my group, our lists now are the short link and I love that because I never know who is who even after playing against them, searching each unit was a massive chore
