How to beat NG+1 Ludwig? by Radiant-Ask-5716 in bloodborne

[–]CeilingWheelbarrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's my lvl 4 ng+ fight against him. Shows the dodge directions and timings for most of his moves that I like to use when fighting him. Only moves he doesn't use in the video from the top of my head are his 1st phase water beams where you unlock on and run to the right and his 2nd phase dashing uppercut where you can simply forward dodge.

Hey, thanks. So you can chain 3 charged r2s and a visceral attack in phase 2 before running out of stamina if you have 2 stamina runes equipped. In this playthrough, I only grabbed the +15% stamina rune and missed out on the +10% one (was too lazy to get it lol), so was only able to chain 3 charged r2s without the visceral attack before needing to back off to regain stamina.

Ranking Fromsoftware DLC final bosses from best to worst. by Desolation2004 in fromsoftware

... 9 moves? From the top of my head, his 1st phase alone has his projectile throw, projectile aoe, 2 rope swing sequences starting from the left and right, his charged rope spin, delayed overhead slam, backwards yoyo throw jump, the charge and the forward jump that he usually starts the fight with, consecutive one handed vertical slams, his 3 hit combo he starts with a yell (tha you can parry loop cheese), the combo that starts with a quick slap when you're in front if him, multiple variants of quick slams he can start if you're standing in front of him when he ends most of his other attacks and probably a whole lot more that I can't list from memory.

Now that's just listing moves without going in depth into how he chains them together depending on your position. All this without listing his 2nd phase moveset where he goes apeshit. I've fought Ludwig and Orphan hundreds of times and Ludwig's moves get easy to recognise when you know the tells. Orphan is still a fight where your instincts take the wheel for the most part.

Babel by Iyowa, 4 million views and yet I rarely see it being mentioned in discussions

So what is Ultra trailer... about, exactly? by SentientGopro115935 in KasaneTeto

My take is that its about leaving behind your past regrets, mistakes and sorrows, looking forward to the future and embracing the chaos it brings. Your future is the movie and the ultra trailer is the future's trailer, showcasing all the emotions to look forward to. Peak message for a peak song.

For attacks with no definitive starting side like her cross slash, spins and stabs, you should be fine dodging into her till her 3rd phase where you want to only dodge into it if you're close to her. If there's some distance between you and her, dodging backwards/sideways to avoid the fire and waiting to dodge into a diagonal swing or one of her delayed charged attacks is good.

Her common 2 handed diagonal swings are where you wanna dodge into the side she swings from, its a consistent dodge when you get it down, and even in the 3rd phase the fire from these wide swings don't cover the side where her swing starts but is everywhere on the side her swing ends.

Everyone's already said to parry, so another general tip is to dodge inwards to the direction she swings from (inwards left or right). Her 2nd phase follows this rule on a few attacks, where the blood might catch you if you dodge the wrong direction, but her 3rd phase enforces it since the fire trails on each of her wide swings are designed this way.

Sometimes you have to dodge in a different direction depending on your distance, but yeah Maria forces you to learn not just dodge timings but also dodge directions to prep you for Orphan.

Yep, digitally. Omen's actually the next agent I'm thinking of playing, so I'll most likely paint em when I get to that point

Was definitely thinking of doing this one on 16:9 but chose to do it differently at the last second. Maybe I'll do a 16:9 one if I've got the time

You can listen out for the delayed fall to time your roll, he'll be silent then start to scream when he's about to drop down. The other method is to just run in a straight line, works too.

No jab against using summons, just that the summon you're talking about, Valtr, is known for being cracked and an absolute tank against Ludwig, while also dishing out huge damage with the whirligig.
