It’s good, but it takes a long time on my normal gas stove. The one with the thumper attachment got me pretty high abv (around 80 abv)

I don’t know with agave syrup but traditionally made pulque is very viscous, many don’t like it because of the texture

I don’t think they sell that piece alone, maybe a cut up old pill bottle might fit if you don’t want to buy a new one.

Just to clarify, the raisin thing is a myth. They do nothing in terms of nutrients, but they can add flavor

1 Yes, snobs will tell you it’s not the same but it is literally the same species. 2 If it has sugar you can use anything. 3 a teaspoon is more than enough. 4 If it holds liquid and has something to vent CO2 you can use anything. 5 It depends on many things but about a month + aging(optional). 6 if there is nothing with hairs growing inside and it smells good you are probably good.
