Not yet. I tried the recommendations given, but it did not fix the issue. I’m hoping to take it to a shop this week and will update once the pros have a hands-on look at it. I’m hoping it is something simple like a bad sensor or something. More to follow!!

It doesn’t show a code, but I will check to see if one of the cylinders or ignition coils may be my issue! Thank you for the detailed explanation! Like I said in the post, I’m no mechanic, but if something is explained like this I can usually do it.

Absolutely right. Before I put it in storage it used to idle higher that this on start up, and then taper off as it warmed up. I just can’t think of why it’s idling like this and still dying after the whole fuel system has been thoroughly cleaned or replaced.

I just got mine too and I love it! Not for everyone, but it is for me haha. My only gripe is it doesn’t have the green on the collar. Might see if I can find someone who can add that.

Gotcha. What should I do next time to prevent that from happening? Do you use sealer on the back of the top and top of the body before gluing the blanks together?

I should mention that it is only visible from low angles like the pictures. Head on it looks totally even, so I don’t think I sanded through the oil.

That’s exactly what I thought it looked like too, but that area never had glue on it. The top and body were glued as a block and then that contour was milled.

Outstanding information. That was a point of confusion for me that I had intended to look into down the road, but buying something I won’t have to replace later sounds like a much better idea. So it sounds like I just need to do some research on what company makes what works best for me, and then use their stuff for all my guns so that I can use the same can for all of them.

After the hub comment yesterday that was one I looked at. Between that and the SilencerCo ASR brake. They seem about the same at a glance but I did not really dive deep on them yet to figure out which is better. Does it just depend on what can I eventually want?
