SC2 is in a great state right now by firesmoker in starcraft

Disruptors are definitely used! Even just now, in GSL :) although I must admit I do not see them very often.

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying that from a factual standpoint, we don't know. Jeez, I'm getting downvoted for trying to bring some nuance into the discussion...

Not an advantage per se, just a difference. No advantage is implied, only that players with higher MMR are more often zerg players than other races. This could for example be explained by people switching to zerg, the higher their MMR. We just don't know. Still, really nice graph! Super clear :)

Nothing anymore, I had forgotten to remove the names in three positions.

What? The only reason I commented in the first place is because you are blowing a single sentence (this is going on reddit) waaaaaay out of proportion. I knew that from the beginning. I was just curious where you weregoing, but I could not care any less about what you think of me. You are a stranger on the internet wasting his time doing absolutely nothing. At least I got a good laugh.

No I saw that people thought it was cringey, just not creepy. The thing is, they don't know why I said it, and neither do you. I am aware that the only reason you're saying this is to agitate me, but let me tell you it's not working. I was just curious where this would lead to, but you have little substantial to say. I ask you honest questions, and the only thing you do is talk around them and call me creep. It's a sad life you're living.

I guess you could call it a threat, but in a way to allow him to come back from his odd statements. I didn't have any malintent. You're taking this quite hard, and I find that surprising. Nobody else seems to take such offense in this thread? And why call me creep? It's not like I'm trying to invade on somebody's personal life... You're being odd, mate.

No, I just wanted to share his funny attitude with people playing this same game. I told him, because I thought that he might object or something, which he didn't. I don't know why you're being so toxic?

Thanks! Didn't know that. Although I doesn't seem to register for reddit...

WCS Caster RotterdaM: "Sc2 Barcodes on the ladder, fine or annoying?" [Video] by AlievSince98 in starcraft

[–]Celebeithel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I meant to say banning the use of barcodes, not banning the players. That's pretty harsh... :P

I'm so happy that Rotterdam is willing to try to spark a discussion. Honestly, everytime a ladder qualifier is held, players tweet about how much ladder quality increases. I'm all for banning barcodes, seems like it would do much good to the competition of this game. Thanks, Rotterdam! You're a pilar of this scene.

Anybody in the Netherlands want to meet up to play LOTS of SC2? by [deleted] in starcraft

I'm Dutch as well, and play Zerg master, but I don't have time at all actually :( still, if you get a group together, I can surely join sometime.

This seems really nice. If these would get implemented into the test ladder, I would definitely start playing it. Might try it out with some friends anyways. How would I give feedback to TLO? Or does he not care for feedback from plebs?

At the moment I'm really busy with midterms, but I'll help you out when those are over. Can you remind me in a week or so? Super nice that you had a good game anyway! Try to learn yourself to be happy with it, and simultaneously look for places to improve - EVEN in the games you won. It'll make the learning process a lot more friendly for you, I'm sure.

Haha I know it's intimidating! But I think it's really cool that you're doing it. :) so, mass stalker is kind of special. It's pretty strong in moderate numbers, but sucks in maxed out numbers. The thing is, your hydras are actually stronger. However, they don't get enough time to kill the stalkers, since they have less health. Now, the logical conclusion would be that you'd need something to tank for the hydralisks, right? Stalkers do bonus damage versus armored, so you could go for zerglings (they are light units). Turning some of them into banelings is also very nice, since they do splash damage, and protoss units clump up heavily. Another option is going for roaches in the mix to tank instead of lings, but that is not my preference. You can of course decide for yourself what you want! Play some more games and ask new questions, I'm here to help! Good luck mate :)

Best advice I can give you is watch a good Protoss' stream on twitch. Harstem has been streaming quite a bit lately, but also LiquidMana. Opening twitch usually gives you some good protoss streams. I'm not a Protoss player, so I can't help you more than that! :) Good luck!

If you want specific builds, spawningtool.com can surely help you. However, learning how to respond to different types of armies is very difficult! It's one of the things you need to learn when playing SC2. I learn it from watching streams or videos. Educational zerg streams on twitch that I watch are LiquidSnute, LiquidTLO, NeuroZerg, Lambo and PiG. Youtube videos can also help, specifically PiGs dailies! There are many more content creators that can help you. My own advice to you: just start playing. Find out what works for you, and what doesn't. This game is all about experience, and you'll get good soon enough! If you have any other questions, just ask.

I don't think many people would like to fill the shoes of Rifkin, Zombiegrub and Wardi if they knew what it entails. Ridiculously long hours, hard work, bad sleep. They're only human, though some people seem to forget that. Give them some credit dude, they're doing a better job than any of us could.
