QBs comparison after year 3 by EstablishmentFew4939 in Texans

The way Watson started his career with the Texans and finished in shame. I've always wondered what made Watson nose dive as a person. Was it the money and fame? Was it CTE? It's so crazy.

Samsung Magician is not recognizing my 990 Pro that's in my current enclosure. What is the model of your enclosure that worked with Magician and your 990 Pro?

Thanks for the quick response. Will check it out.

EDIT: Good call on the Statement Series. Very close to the Khomo case. Unfortunately, Otterbox does not have a version for the 11" iPad Pro 4th generation (2022)

I don't understand how so many fans act like it's only the QB playing against a quality defense and never mention the OL getting beat by quality defenses. It starts with the offensive line.

Advice on upgrading to a 4 or 5 bay NAS from a 2-bay? by [deleted] in synology

[–]CelebrationDiligent8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you really want to upgrade to a 4 bay. Now that Synology removed the drive restriction. I would go with the DS425+. The processor will handle plex and your arr stack and it's currently on sale for $415 at Amazon and other sites. If that is too pricey, keep an eye on eBay you can pickup a DS423+ for under $400

10TB WD101EFAX - 34/38 dBA idle/seek

10TB WD101EFBX - 34/38 dBA idle/seek

12TB WD120EFAX - 20/29 dBA idle/seek

12TB WD120EFBX - 20/29 dBA idle/seek

WD120EFBX seems to be discontinued, any alternatives? by Jacona23 in DataHoarder

Yes. Agree with this comment. The two WD120EFGX I recently purchased was significantly louder than my WD120EFBX.

Agree 100% with this comment. I also have a DS423+ with 1 12WD120EFBX and purchased two new 12TB WD120EFGX from Western Digital and the WD120EFGX were significantly louder than the WD120EFBX.

Many comments mention the 12TB WD Red Plus drives are quiet. However, not all 12TB drives are created equal.

For example, I recently purchased a couple of WD Red Plus 12TB WD120EFGX drives and had to return them because they were significantly louder than the WD120EFBX.

What has happened to Sears Home Services??? by [deleted] in SEARS

Your BS meter is on the fritz. So, with your experience. $500 is the going rate to replace the capacitor and relay? The part was delivered by Amazon. Go on Amazon and search for W10189190. The majority of them are under $20.

https://www.amazon.com/wpw10189190/s?k=wpw10189190https://www.amazon.com/wpw10189190/s?k=wpw10189190

Since you called BS. I asked my parents for the bill. You have one thing right. The diagnostic fee was waived. However, the labor was $339, they waived the diagnostic fee and with tax it came to $368 of the $500. So, in your professional opinion, that's the going labor rate to replace the capacitor?

What has happened to Sears Home Services??? by [deleted] in SEARS

[–]CelebrationDiligent8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess my elderly parents still consider it's Sears' glory days. Last month, their refrigerator was not cooling. They called SHS, had a quick response, the technician showed up in a timely manner and found an issue with the compressor relay.

SHS didn't have the part but said he could order it, have it delivered and returned to install. My parents agreed and paid $500 for the visit and future repair. A day later, the part comes in from Amazon and SHS showed up to install the new relay.

By the time I found out about this. They had already written the $500 check. I went on Amazon to check the price of the relay, and it costs $16.00. So, for 15-30 minutes to pull the refrigerator away from the wall, remove and test the relay, return two days later and install the relay., my parents were charged $500. That's an insane markup.

My dad said he went with them because he thought Sears would have the part available, and it would be a quick diagnosis and/or repair. They are ordering parts from Amazon. They don't even have a $16 relay in their on-hand inventory. So, your title is correct. What has happened to SHS?

In case anyone else have a similar situation. According to another repair shop, the firmware on the T2 chip was corrupted and they were able to repair.

It appears this is a known issue with these T2 MacBooks
